Jimbo’s is the best little Chinese restaurant on the West end of the Treasure Valley. While the buffet selection might not the largest…the quality of food is amazing. Jim makes sure everything is to the customer’s liking while you are at his establishment. The service is second to none, and the food is always fresh and delicious. Once you find this quaint little paradise, you’ll find that you are drawn back again.

In our group of 5 we all agreed this was the worst restaurant food we’ve ever had. We should have know it wasn’t popular when we pulled up and the street was clear of cars in front of the restaurant, and only that restaurant. The food was cold, most looked and tasted like frozen food that had been reheated. The potstickers and the spring rolls had a rubber taste and the rice was the most bland rice I’ve ever had. It was all around awful.

I absolutely love this place. My favorite chinese restaurant in the entire valley! I am addicted to their pork spare ribs and luckily I only live one block over from this restaurant and find myself ordering delivery 3-5 times a week. I could seriously live on Jimbos ribs alone and be completely happy. My roommate also loves Jimbos and has ordered a variety of different dishes which I have tried and can honestly say I loved them all! All the staff is super friendly as well. I can get a big plate of ribs and my roommate can get a dish or a dinner combo with several different items and it costs us 20 bucks and change which is what you going to pay for 2 burgers and fries from any McDonald’s or Burger King these days. I recommend you try Jimbos for yourself. It’s the only way your truly going to know if you enjoy it as much as I do. I am very confident you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve worked at a Chinese restaurant for some time and used to say it was the only Chinese food I would eat. I was wrong! Since moving to Payette I am so in love with this place. Hot and sour soup was a bit disappointing but I will eat the mandarin chicken all day. Crab pops are very good, BBQ pork are delicious. I need to try more of the menu but can’t stop downing this deep fried yum!

I usually LOVE Jimbo’s food, been a regular for years. Lately it seems less desirable, new cook or new recipes and portions? Quality is not the same and it is really noticable. /: i still enjoy this restaurant, but it is no longer 5 star quality in my opinion. I will not order things I used to, kitchen quality is lacking. I still love Jimbo’s and hope to see things improve to their former glory.

Hadn’t been to this restaurant in over a year. Their food was just mediocre, but we decided to check it out again. What a disappointment. Most of their food for lunch came from the previous days buffet. Luke warm and tasteless. I’m only writing this review because I don’t want anyone else getting caught eating this terrible, horrible food. A waste of hard earned money.
