Stopped here as we were traveling through. Wanted good bbq but didn’t want to go downtown Nashville so we headed this way instead. Definitely recommend and will be back! We had the Mac and cheese, nachos and cheddar biscuits. Everything was amazing and the service was great. Brandon was our server and Daren brought our food out. They were both really nice and gave good service. Loved the atmosphere.

Warm welcome great atmosphere and pretty darn good food. I was visiting this small town and was looking for some good bbq as it was lunch time. I found this lovely gem. I ordered 2 meat plate: pork rib, moist brisket with collard greens and Mac and cheese. I Also ordered deviled eggs as an Appetizer. The meal came with corn bread muffins and butter. Lastly I got an Arnold Palmer with peach tea. The only thing I wouldn’t order again was Mac and cheese but not because it wasn’t good because it was… it was too cheese for my dietary restrictions. I had a great server (Courtney) she gave great suggestions and was attentive but gave me space to eat. Several people stop by to see if I needed any and to ask me how everything was. All around great place to have a meal.

I visit Nashville annually for a softball tournament and in STL we are extremely critical of BBQ and pizza. Many places advertise BBQ or “smoked” meat, Jim N Nick’s embodies what it means to serve grilled meat. All of the meats had a “red” smoke ring indicating the meat had been properly cooked. The ribs were not only tender, but seasoned extremely well. The Mac n Cheese was flavorful, creamy, and made with care. And last but certainly NOT least. The cheddar cornbread muffins are like crack. Fluffy, buttery, and the cheese doesn’t over-power the cornbread.
By far this was my best food and service experience in my past 4 annual visits to Nashville. Angela, my barista/server was amazing, attentive, and helped me with the menu. Thank you Jim n Nicks! You will be a regular stop for me every time I visit Nashville!

Fairly standard BBQ joint. Brisket was tender and had a good taste. The fries and bean were what you would expect but the Corn Bread Rolls were out of this world. Get them hot and enjoy.

Came in for lunch, April provided me with outstanding service, kind and attentive. Brought me the paper menu (that’s some old school stuff right there) and some mini house muffins with slight cheese, super good! I wanted Brisket (chopped which is an option) so I ordered a sandwich and some slaw on the side… I wanted to try the chili soup too along with a coke.
Place accommodates small and large groups, plenty of space. These guys work their tails off, place was spotless. Also, this joint has a Drive-tru.

Food was great, drink service was extremely slow. First drinks (even water) came AFTER the appetizers, drink refill didn’t come till we were finished eating AND they weren’t even very busy!! We went early and only had to wait like 5 min for a table so it’s not like they were slammed. It was warm and humid inside. I’m a excellent tipper but this girl only got $5 from me. My GF said she’s lucky she got that.

I love this place! Food is so good, love the cheesy biscuits and butter they serve as an appetizer. The brisket chili fries are bomb! I got the house salad with ranch (amazing !!) my son and husband love eating here as well. Something yummy for the whole family! Women’s bathroom is run down, could use some care. Didn’t take away a star for that, just an observation. Customer service has always been pleasant and tentative. Highly recommend.
