This place use to be my least favorite place to eat but, now it’s so much better. The waiters/waitresses are fantastic. Management is top notch as well! We have been very pleased with this location. Erika was absolutely amazing. Though she is a manager, she was going around making sure all the customers had everything they needed or wanted.

I frequent N&J on my travels. I typically am happy when I stay near one. However, the one in Jasper AL has changed my mind. I paid $3.99 plus tax & packaging fee for their fresh fruit side. The fresh fruit side was 18 grapes. I will not do business with any establishment that will blatantly mislead & fleece customers. No more N&J for this guy.

First things first, Jim and Nick’s is freaking awesome. The staff is amazing, super friendly, and totally goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect.
Now, the food is top notch and worth every single penny. The biscuits you get in the beginning need to come with a warning label because you will fill up on those before you even get your food. They are too good.
My favorite thing tho, is the smoked Turkey. It’s beautifully smoked, juicy, and full of flavor. It’s truly one of my favorites. The mac and cheese is also legit and made with actual cheeses. It’s velvety and rich like a good Mac and cheese should be.
Look, if you’re looking for damn good food and great service then you’ve found it. Jim and Nick’s is where it’s at and I’m a fan for life.

On the 27th I bought take out and wanted to share that it was just as delicious and plentiful as the dine-in serving size.
Meat was very tender and juicy. The cheddar muffins melted in my mouth delicious. Loved the collard greens. Ordered the 3 meat combo. Baked beans had just the right amount sweetness. Overall excellent flavor, excellent service. I’ll be back. There’s a drive-thru too.

The service started off pretty rough. We waited to be seated (we were a party of seven). Waiting on a Friday night was completely fine— however we got to our table and waited even longer before being served. The GM noticed us and handled the situation beyond my expectations. We will most definitely be coming back! Food was absolutely amazing as I knew it would be. Service was great and again the GM handled our situation beyond our expectations! 10/10 recommend!

I dined in around 12:00 and there were only about 6 tables throughout the entire restaurant with diners. Our waitress brought out cold biscuits and when we asked for fresh biscuits she advised they do them in batches and no fresh ones would be coming out for a while. We ordered the chicken finger basket tossed in buffalo with fries and macaroni and cheese. The chicken and fries were both cold, and when I mentioned it to the waitress she looked as if she was disgusted because I didn’t want to pay $25 for a cold plate of food. I then asked for the manager and Justin came to the table. I explained the issues we were having and showed him our food was cold, and we just wanted to check out and pay for our teas and we would leave. Justin went over the top to provide amazing service and fresh food. His customer service saved this review from being a 1 star review. I will definitely give this location another chance.

My wife and I decided to have dinner at Jim’Nicks, first time we had ate here in a while. Jessie was our server, she was friendly and very attentive. We both had the BBQ salad, it was delicious and almost more than we could eat. The cheese biscuits were awesome. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Jim N Nick’s has some god food. I’ve been here a couple of times. This time I had the pulled pork. It wasn’t very warm. But, it had a good flavor and smokiness l.
My sides were collars greens and potato salad. Both were excellent. It’s hard to make good greens , at least to my liking. They did a good job. They bring out some small cornbread with your drinks. They’re really good. It’s unusual for me to like sweet cornbread. In the south we generally don’t make sweet cornbread at least not in my upbringing. And, finally, great onion rings.
Overall, great place to eat if you want some good barbecue and good sides. I’ll give it a four simply because it’s not the best barbecue I’ve had. But, I didn’t want to be critical.

Dined there tonight for first time after much acclaim from family members with verdict: solidly good, but not great–and prob WILL return to try other dishes, but it needs to ante up because other close by places bring their A-game when it comes to both BBQ and to service. Food was okay (my loaded mac bowl was barely warm, but yummy), tea delicious, and prices fair. Service was attentive, quick, and friendly. Atmosphere spacious, not too “sports bar-y”, and clean (to include restroom)–with ample parking. Saw a lot of to-go orders lined up, which is a good sign, but like I said…step it up a notch, otherwise for me it will not rise above being a “lunch spot” only. I have almost 500 reviews and my reviews are all fair.

I am leaving a 5 star but I will only review the burger I ate. I had a classic or “original” burger which was what it is, a classic. Fine quality ingredients from top to bottom except for the buns. I believe they were a potato based bun which as you can guess or maybe know get soggy quick and the texture was off. If they could fix the buns to a more artesian texture that burger would sell way better.
