My husband and I visited for the first time-and last- time this weekend. The restaurant was so dim we could barely see our food. Service was friendly, but everything else went downhill fast.
The hostess greeted us quickly, started to seat us on the lounge side of the restaurant, but quickly decided it was too crowded and directed us to the other side of the restaurant. Maybe she couldn’t tell which side should be seated with such dim lighting.
Our waitress quickly took our order, consisting of a crabby fry appetizer, a southern fried tender entree and a chopped steak entree.
We received the crabby fries, a handful of fries topped with crab dip, tasty but lacking old bay flavors. The fries were cooked crispy to hold up to the crab dip.
My husband’s chicken tenders were average. My chopped steak was a complete failure- just a premade medium well hamburger patty sitting in a puddle of grease with a tiny scoop of mashed potatoes. The hush puppies were served separately, likely so they wouldn’t soak up the grease. Charging $20 for this and calling it a “chopped steak” is unacceptable.
For comparison, Longhorn Steakhouse serves an actual chopped steak that’s $5 cheaper, comes with 2 sides and fresh baked bread – and it’s miles better than what I was served here.
Our bill was almost $80, including a slice of Smith Island cake to go. The cake was the best part of dinner – and I doubt it’s made in-house.
Save your time and your money! Pocomoke doesn’t have a lot of restaurants so unfortunately this one is choosing to take advantage of their customers by price gouging and providing sub par food!

We got sat in the corner booth and the decorations were nice and the restaurant was clean. Our waitress was lovely. Our food came out quickly and warm. I ordered the overloaded brownie with vanilla ice cream. The brownie was warm and decadent and the presentation was beautiful.

went here on a Tuesday night while it was pouring rain outside, so the place was a little quiet. Our waitress was kind and friendly, which made the experience even nicer. The crab cake appetizer is a must — you can really see and taste the crab .
I ordered the tomato soup and the broiled jumbo shrimp, and I loved both! The shrimp were well-seasoned and delicious, and the tomato soup had hearty chunks of tomato that made it feel homemade.
Overall, it was a well-balanced dinner — flavorful, not too heavy, and truly satisfying.✨️

We went here for a quick lunch before heading back to VA and it wasn’t too bad. The lighting could have used a little improvement since it was 11:30 in the morning. We had the fried oysters and the grilled jerk chicken for the appetizers. The jerk chicken was not spicy at all. There was some seasoning and the flavor was not too bad but I was expecting to get a spicy taste and it just fell flat in that area. It would have been good with a bbq sauce since it was grilled but it came with a honey mustard. For the meal we had shrimp and fried flounder. Portion size was good and the food was good. The coleslaw was a little sweet but overall, it was good. The only reason why I didn’t do 5 stars is because the atmosphere was a little lack luster, the drinks were very sweet, and the garnish on the plates was a little out dated to me. The food was good and the service was good too. There was no wait so that was also a good thing. I would like to go back and try some other things on the menu.

Crabby flatbread is amazing. Fried Shrimp and Shrimp Caesar salad were great as well. On occasion they’ll do a shrimp Caesar wrap and it’s amazing. Friendly staff

Nice spacey place for a quiet dine in. Flounder dish was tasty, but the steak and scallops needed help. It only came w 3 scallops, and the ribeye was not prepared correctly. A thick cut should be tenderized and seasoned well, but it was tuff and cooked close to well than what I ordered, medium.

First of all, Arianna was amazing! Kudos to her and her service! Not only friendly but attentive and on point!
Food was fabulous! We ordered the Stuffed Rockfish and Broiled Flounder. Both were delicious! Only complaint…baked potatoes were extremely overcooked.
Otherwise, our dinner was amazing!

On a random trip I found this gem up on the Eastern shore just as you cross over into Maryland give or take 5 miles. Don’s was an immediate pleasure to walk into we were seated the wait staff was helpful knowledgeable and very friendly. Everyone observed the new precautions having to do with the pandemic in evidence was the use of PPE.
All of the tables around us including the large tables of numbers over 5 to 6 per table from time orders were taken back to the time that food arrived was a reasonable amount of wait time. Wait staff was prompt and ready with drinks appetizers and any other table side necessities as well as the removal of dirty dishes.
Well seated I noted that you can order ahead and pick up but that they do not deliver. Additional to this there is a dessert area for takeout as well as a spirits area to take ABC off site.
Bathrooms were well stocked clean no noticeable traces of dirt and or odors and clearly posted signs for handling hand washing for staff and also for customers.
Our food came within a reasonable amount of time was very delicious and cooked as we had ordered. When part of our party wanted additional sauces and substitutions the restaurant staff had no problem accommodating.
After our mule and while we were gathering up our items the wait staff had through the course of the meal discovered for short talk that we were traveling and had wished us as well as other wait staff had wished us a safe travel and had suggested additional sites to see along our destination path.
Anyone in the area and for those traveling through I highly suggest Don’s restaurant.

Great spot! Conveniently located on the main highway. Great service. Very attentive waitress. Really yummy treasure island drink made with my favorite liquor Captain Morgan. Ordered sirloin and fried shrimp. My steak was over cooked (ordered medium and it was well done) Came with 2 sides. I got Caesar salad for small up-charge and sweet potato fries. My boyfriend got hush puppies and mashed potatoes with optional gravy. We also ordered the chicken tender appetizer which is breaded with the consistency of fish breading. Really great! Highly recommend. Will definitely be back. Too full for dessert but their case had quite a variety of choices so we will try one next time. They also have a nice liquor store by the front left which is fully stocked with bottles and novelty items.
