We visited the restaurant a couple of hours before superbowl 2026. The first thing I wanted to say was that the service was outstanding. I accidentally ordered baby back ribs expecting juicy fall off the bone ribs. The manager went above and beyond and replaced them immediately with spare ribs. No questions asked. The ribs were outstanding. A lot of establishments would not do that.
We ordered other things. Brisket, chicken etc it was all excellent. The Mac n cheese is to die for. Right amount of cheeses and texture was perfect.
I will definitely return but the manager made the difference. My hats off to him. He was pleasant and patient. The rest of the staff was also great. Friendly, patient and happy to be there and willing to go the extra mile to make ur experience a great one.

I have ordered from this location on several different occasions. I always ask them to put a seal on my drink lid being that I place my order thru Uber Eats. They never put a seal on the lid which causes me to have to go buy a drink from Publix. Such an inconvenience. I hope whoever is over management correct this issue asap. Until then I will refrain from ordering Uber Eats from them.

I have literally been here more times than I can count, and every time the food and service were 10/10! My favorite feature about this restaurant is that they have a DRIVE THRU! You can get REAL food (for around the same price as “fast food” restaurants), and you don’t have to get out of your car. The ladies that work the drive thru are so friendly, and on each occasion my order has been correct. I have never experienced a negative attitude from any one here. The sides are delicious (collard greens are exquisite). I love the baked beans. They have the best wings in metro Atlanta (highly recommend the honey habanero bbq wings), but everything I’ve ordered has been legitimately delicious 100% recommend this place

I had lunch there for the first time two weeks ago and it was so good, I came back again this week. The pork sandwich was very tender, and the baked beans were very rich and delicious. And their little cheese muffins were super light and flavorful. I will definitely be back.

When I approached the counter, I encountered a cashier named Reda, who seemed uninterested in assisting me. Given the cold weather outside, I hoped she would simply fetch my food from the to-go window. Instead, she pointed me toward the manager, who was seated and engaged in conversation with another patron.
As I approached, I was met with an unwelcoming attitude, as the manager bluntly remarked, “Can’t you see I’m with someone?” This interaction left me feeling dismissed and unvalued as a customer. We all deserve a welcoming environment and attentive service when dining out. I encourage the management at Jim n Nicks to reflect on this experience and consider how they can create a more inviting atmosphere for all their patrons. Did drive thru, took a long time, not fast or friendly, sides were in smallest container ever. Great turkey, great collards, great bbq sauce. First and last visit to this place. Plenty of other bbq nearby.

I didn’t want to even give this one star. My office ordered lunch Togo from the Alpharetta location today 06/25/25 and I ordered the bbq pork sandwich and I got the a sandwich with zero bbq sauce and none on the side. It was horrible without the sauce. After a few bites I couldn’t eat anymore. I called the restaurant and they could have cared less. I will not go back to that location. We spent over $60 and this is such a disappointment!!! We order every day from work. I work at the Avalon and this will be our last time ordering from this location!

The cheese biscuits are warm, crisp around the edges, moist within, sweet, and slightly cheesy. These little gems are heavenly. I love that their corn on the cob is fresh and just perfect. Their Mac and cheese is oh-so rich, thick, silky, and creamy. Seriously still thinking about their baby back ribs! Can’t wait to come back

We had a great experience at Jim ’N Nick’s BBQ! The food was excellen! Everything we ordered was delicious. A special shoutout to the manager, Stephanie, who took wonderful care of us and made sure everything was perfect. Her attentiveness and friendly attitude really made our visit stand out. I went to this location and had their new Southern Trio as an appetizer and it was very good. The wings were crisp and the Onion wings were flavorful. I also had their pork sandwhich and it was delicious as well. Will go again
