A Google search for eating places near where we were staying in the Little Haiti area turned up this little family-run gem and based on the reviews from others, we decided we had to try it out. It absolutely did not disappoint. Friendly greeting as soon as we arrived, delicious smells coming from the outdoor grill tent, reasonable prices, fun & laid back vibes, generous portions… and freakin delicious authentic Jamaican food. We got the jerk chicken and jerk pork combo with rice and beans. O!M!G! So good! My only regret is that we didn’t also order some of the salmon and grilled bammy…
This place and the friendly family that owns it are the real deal. So, get in here, people- you’ll be glad you did! (I’m already plotting when to work in another visit before we head back home to PA!)

Came there not knowing what to eat this was the closest thing Jamaican in the area. I’m from New York my family’s jamaican, and my best friend who was with me is a chef. Like a real chef like classically trained, she was not only Blown Away with the flavor profile. I just thought the customer service was amazing food was fast. And I literally have nothing left to even show for a photo I’m ashamed of myself but I’ll take a picture of the back to show proof.THANK YOU GUYS

My experience was just ok. I came in early and was one of the first customers, and in my experience that can sometimes result in a fuel taste at BBQ places that use liquid fuel. Unfortunately, I noticed that flavor this time, and some pieces were also burned, as shown in the picture. That said, the service was really good and the corn was very good as well.

Ordered jerk pork, portion was ok, but pork was under cooked. Small cuts of skin were left on some pieces. First bite I knew he rushed the cooking process. But that is dangerous with pork meat. The owner was cooking and seems to have experience, but I’m from Georgia and raised in a family restaurant, we would never serve grilled pork undercooked. No I would not eat there again.

We just moved to the neighborhood and were looking for good food while my sister was visiting. And anywhere that my sister wants to eat is going to be GOOD!!!
We walked down, and when we got close, our noses led the way.
As soon as we got there, the owner (the chef’s wife) was so nice and made us feel really comfortable.
We sat down at the tables, listened to the dj, enjoyed watching the chef cook at the open grill, and just hung out.
I think we got some of almost everything (except the salmon, that’s for next time). The grilled cheese was INCREDIBLE! The corn, something I dream about. And the grilled bammy, I wish I could eat every single day.
We will definitely be coming back, and anyone who visits is absolutely going to be eating here with us!!!

Insanely delicious jerk chicken, pork, and corn! We ordered for my family of 6, and every single one of us was blown away by how delicious the food was. Could not recommend this place enough! The staff is very friendly as well, and the overall vibe of the place was great. We will definitely return next time we’re in the Miami area.

The pull if the cheese on the sandwich was thick and DELICIOUS! Yeah Mon .. The food is prepared fresh off the smoking grill.
