such a great little spot. fairly expansive menu for a small counter service ice cream shop. sandwiches, snacks/sides, delicious sweet treats. outdoor seating.

Awful experience. 20$ for this salad and a chicken sandwich. The lettuce is old and see through. The cauliflower is gross and this salad smells SO BAD! The chicken sandwich was the same with old lettuce and the chicken tasted like freezer burn. My mom is allergic to mold and her mouth is numb and tingly so i would not trust this place ever!!!!!!! Never going back for food ever again

Hate to say it, might be slightly overrated. I do like the accessories they offer with ice cream, but the core flavor of the ice cream is unfortunately lacking. The texture is amazing! But their vanilla tastes like nothing.

Mold? Thats what I’m allergic too and my mouth started to itch, swollen lips, followed by vomit. Had to go to the walk in clinic for allergic reaction. The only time this happens is when there is mold exposure. Grilled chicken sandwhich was rubbery with wilted lettuce. I ate a couple bites before the panic set in and the vomit. Someone should go check out why this is happening so others dont have to also suffer.

The Bedford Jiffy Treet is good. The Ellettsvile one, not so much. 1. I got the same dessert that I always get at Bedford but it was $2 more in Ellettsvile. When I questioned it, the guy was dismissive and rude. They are always super nice in Bedford. 2. The ice cream was not as good. It kind of almost had a cleanser flavor/freezer burnt taste to it. Bedford ice cream is always delicious. Definitely won’t ever return to the Ellettsvile location. Coming back to add, by the swelling of my tongue and the overall itching and sick feeling I now have after having partially consumed the ice cream, there is most likely mold in the candy pieces or the ice cream machine.

Hands down, best ice cream in Bloomington area. Smoothest soft serve you will ever find. Everything on the menu is good, and the menu is huge. The Banana Wheel is our go to right now.

This is a locally owned ice cream place along the road in Elliotsville. We stopped here after going to the driving range down the road. The menu was huge. I told the guy at the window that we had never been there before, so it would be a minute (when he asked what we wanted). It was a Friday around 2pm and we were the only ones in line outside. He was a bit rude and not helpful to even answer my questions about what a cyclone was or guide me on ordering something I would like. They have a window at the front to order and also a drive-through. They have lots of parking. There’s a side eating area, but in February, it doesn’t look appealing.

I asked what brand the icecream was, because sometimes business will put homemade but it actually isn’t. The guy and girl at the window were a little taken aback and said it’s homemade, which told me its actually homemade. I decided to order a sundae with a scoop of the chocolate peanut butter with caramel sauce. It came in a Styrofoam cup. I also ordered a taco Supreme which was soft shell, ground beef meat, lettuce, tomato, sour cream.

The icecream tasted good! But I got whipped cream and a cherry and I didn’t ask for that part. I should have gotten something crunchy in it too, but o well.

The taco was good, but it was just a normal taco, nothing fancy.

I WANT to like this place so much that I gave it three chances. It’s clearly not a corporate business and I’d rather support a smaller one. This place is made out of more than one building slapped together and really rickety and the menu is faded.
The milkshake here is INEDIBLE, as are the fries, which tend to mostly be hardened fried nubs that are too salty and could break a tooth. Three times while visiting someone who lives nearby I have purchased fries and a shake and it’s not on accident! They WANT their shakes to be flavorless ice-milk, and their fries to go straight into the garbage with it. They INTEND to make food this way! I’m not giving them my money ever again

I love jiffy treat and have been going here for over a decade. They have great food and their ice cream is delicious. However I did notice that they changed the cookie dough. Which ever brand they used before was ten times better than what they are using now. I’m disappointed about this because I only get cookie dough a it’s the main reason why I come here. Now I don’t know if I’ll come back.

Always the best when me and my husband visit! He always gets a chocolate malt and I get the smores cyclone. Always fresh, always served with kindness, and it’s always so good!
