We stopped by JiBeiChuan on Grove Street for a warm dinner after walking around JSQ, and it turned out to be such a satisfying meal. The signature chicken rice noodle soup came with a rich, flavorful collagen broth and generous pieces of tender chicken, and the dry-mixed noodle bowl was packed with beef brisket, tendon, and other toppings, making it hearty and filling for two people. Portion sizes are big for the price, and everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. We also ordered milk tea from the shop next door—staff helped bring it over—which was convenient and quite good. The small dishes were surprisingly strong as well, especially the marinated beef shank and the pork intestine.

Ji Bei Chuan in Jersey City is an excellent spot for authentic Chinese comfort food. We ordered the Fish Maw Chicken Soup Rice Noodles, the Original Bone Broth Beef Shank Rice Noodles, the Braised Platter Dry Mixed Noodles, and the Ji Family Beef Stir-Fried Rice Noodles — every dish was flavorful and satisfying. The soups were rich and deeply comforting, the beef shank was tender, and the dry mixed noodles were perfectly seasoned with generous portions of braised meats. The stir-fried rice noodles had great wok flavor. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for high-quality Chinese noodles in Jersey City!

This JiBeiChuan location is warm and relatively spacious with plenty of seating.
The Supreme Fish Maw Chicken Soup with Rice Noodles is filling and not overly seasoned. The flavor profile would please a wide variety of guests. Table side condiments such as salt and black vinegar are available for people to adjust food to suit their taste if needed. It would be better if the soup spoon was changed from a metal rice spoon to an actual spoon that could pick up more liquid for ease of eating.
The Silk Stocking Milk Tea served cold in a glass bottle is slightly too milky for me but has good tea flavor and smooth mouthfeel.

The food was amazing! It was very flavorful, generous portions, and the menu had a large variety of food options.
Dining in has semi self service – you order food and drinks online (or by scanning the QR code at the tables), and the workers will bring it out to your table. Highly recommend!

Just visited JiBeiChuan Rice Noodle and I’m so impressed! I tried their signature rice noodle—Supreme fish maw chicken soup rice noodle, it was absolutely amazing. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and satisfying. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area! 🙂

Nice little spot! The food was tasty – one dish was a bit spicier than expected, but still good. Chill vibe overall, even though the music was a bit loud. We could still talk easily, and the music videos playing were fun to watch.
Service was great – super friendly and helpful. We got chopsticks, and when we asked for forks, they brought them right away. Clean bathroom too.
Would definitely stop by again!

this place has a lot of dishes from different parts of asia, but it seems like the specialty is chinese food (should have figured from the name.) i got the tom yum which was tasty, but not what i expected. you don’t usually find woodear mushrooms and bean curds in tom yum, as far as i know. the broth was tangy with just a little hint of spiciness. i liked it more and more as i ate it. the beef was also a nice touch
my friend got some kind of stir fry noodle, and it was good. nothing special, but still tasty!
the squid appetizer was cooked nicely and came with a delicious sauce, but i was a little disappointed with the portion size
i also got the bottled hong kong style tea. it was sweet with a touch of bitterness. my friend from hong kong said it was authentic, so it makes sense that it wouldn’t be super sweet and leans into the black tea flavor
the place is clean and surprisingly crowded for the middle of the day so it does make me want to come back and try more dishes on the chinese side of the menu

We stopped by this boutique yet empty restaurant on a sunny day for noodles. The soup was quite warm and soothing. The chicken and the beef were all tender and easy to chew.
The noodles were fairly standard and a bit plain. The portions were well sized and sufficiently filling.

The food order came out very quick and the food was flavorful. It was a little bit peppery for my taste but it’s better then bland food. The waiter was very friendly.

I highly recommend this spot for really good soup. The tom yum soup was pretty close in flavor to the branch in Flushing. The shrimp fried rice wasn’t really up to par in our opinion so I recommend sticking to the soup on the menu.
Staff were super friendly and accommodating. They even had a kids plate/cup set which was cute. Although there are many tables, it didn’t feel so tight which is great. The space is very bright and large and we didn’t feel rushed to leave after finishing our meals.
Just a note for anyone who has never been here before you can place an order via the QR code and then continue adding if you want more on your phone. We had our food in roughly 15 minutes or so (we were a large group) and most of us ordered soup.
