Had a solo night in LA and I wanted to go somewhere walkable from my hotel. Based on the map and reviews Jemma hit the mark. What I didn’t realize is that everyone who goes to the Pantages goes here before the show so I hit the insane dinner rush. I eventually got a table at the bar and slowly as it drew closer to showtime the restaurant started to clear out. Service was excellent and super attentive. I loved the Negroni selection and recommend the Sour. Also the Butternut Squash Agnolotti in Browned Butter is to die for, it reminds me of a dish I used to get years ago at Rob Fennie’s Lumiere. I’ll definitely return but will aim for a later time to miss the rush.

Our first time there and we loved it! Food and drinks were great! Service was great! Chicken Parmesan was delicious. Pretty and cozy inside. Big plus walking distance to Pantages and you can keep your car parked there for $33. Well worth the convenience. We will be back!

My family and I had dinner here this past Sunday after watching Moulin Rouge at Pantages Theater nearby. Let me tell you, it did not dissapoint!! We had an array of dishes and every single thing we had was so good. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu! From appetizers to main dishes and desserts, our bellies were very happy. And the service was wonderful! Sean, Zachary, and Danni were so delightful. It made our family time together complete. We definitely will find reason to come back soon! Thank you for being so sweet!!!
Appetizers: Broccolini, Calamari

We had such an amazing experience! The food was hands-down the best Italian we’ve ever had, with generous portions perfect for sharing. The service was outstanding—our waiter Hector was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely kind. The entire team went out of their way to check in regularly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We’d absolutely recommend Jemma and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The food was beyond amazing. Fresh, exciting and delicious. The Vodka pizza was incredible and the Kale salad was light and tasty. I highly recommend specially if you need a place for dinner before/after a theater show. Staff were very nice and friendly. It’s a bit loud but not horribly to the point you can’t have a conversation. The ambience is very contemporary. Get the pizza!!!!!!

It was very busy and a bit loud. The service was excellent. I had a steak with a small arugula salad. It was grisly and tough to chew. It’s a bit steep at $44 for mediocre meat. The spicy rigatoni was fabulous, as were the drinks.
The bread pudding melts in your mouth.

Table side house made original tiramisu was a big hit for the 5 of us who shared it. Homemade pasta was truly fresh and tasty. I would go back again.

Perfect pre-theatre dinner! I’ve been going to the Pantages for years and had never tried Jemma but I will certainly keep coming back now. My daughter and I started with the Palisades fries, which were a special menu item for only $10. Basically fries with pasta sauce and cheese and they were absolutely delicious and a great portion size especially for the price. We shared a Caesar salad which was excellent followed by the chicken parmesan and angel hair pasta with vodka sauce. The chicken parmesan portion size is quite large so definitely shareable. We absolutely loved the vodka sauce. Very flavorful and unique. It is slightly spicy. For dessert we had the cannoli and were able to share it as they give you three nicely sized cannolis in the order. The restaurant itself is quite lovely with kind of a dark and moody ambiance. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

This was our first time dining at Jemma and we can’t wait to come back! The service was top-tier and the food was even better. We were lucky and were served by the restaurant general manager, Sean. He was so knowledgeable and gave us many fantastic recommendations. We enjoyed our drinks, appetizer, dinner, and dessert! We especially loved the items that were seemed to match the Pantages theater. The atmosphere is so welcoming and upscale, but also very approachable and friendly. We would highly recommend this place to anyone! We can’t wait to bring our family back here.

From the moment we walked in, the staff were spectacular. I’d made a reservation on Open Table with comments for my partner’s birthday. They discretely arranged for a candle with our table-side tiramisu (a must try!), and my partner was delighted by the presentation! At the end of the meal, they gave him a card signed by the staff and owners, which was entirely unexpected and the perfect way to end the night. On top of everything, the food was delicious and fairly-priced. We’ll be back!
