Love the restaurant layout, definitely gives that real China vibe. Presentation of the food was great. However very greasy. Prices aren’t bad and service is good. You order from a tablet and the items are sent straight to the kitchen. Does her very busy at night. The fire photo is lamb and my husband loved it. Very flavorful. Seafood fried rice was my favorite. Duck spring rolls 5/10 chicken wontons 5/10 chili fried chicken 7/10 seafood fried rice 8/10 lamb 7/10 for my husband 9/10

We came here on recommendation from Resy and absolutely loved it! No idea why we have lived so close for so many years but did not notice this place – not even when we were visiting around the corner on the same building to pick up takeaways.
This is an experience to be had in person, please do not do takeaways here!
The menu is on a tablet – and fairly exhaustive. It somehow does not have page numbers so it was challenging to explain to the rest of the table which dishes I was suggesting, a minor feedback at worst. We can proudly claim that just between the 4 of us we were able to do justice to almost every page on the menu.
The food is slightly on the sweeter side, particularly if you are more used to the Szechuan style with the tongue-numbing spicy peppers (dried prickly ash). A lot of dishes qualified for what I would call “stand-out dishes”. The chrysanthemum tea was a beautiful start on the cold night. The truffle and fois gras fried rice, the crispy beef with lemon, and the Peking duck are must-haves if you generally like these ingredients. The wagyu noodles, soup dumplings, and Kung Pao chicken were close seconds. The only item I would skip next time are the wagyu spring rolls.
We had no room for dessert so can’t say how they were. An evening worth remembering!

We had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The environment was equally impressive, with a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable.

Wow! This is a great Asian restaurant in a small shopping center serving Syosset and the adjoining area of Nassau County. Clean facilities. Nice staff, especially our server Jayden who was very friendly and professional. A mix of Taiwanese & Szechuan. Reasonably priced. Mostly Asian patrons which is always a good sign. Give this place a try if you’re in the area. We will definitely be going back.

Dining at Jiangnan was such a wonderful experience. Every dish was full of rich flavors and delicate textures. The Beijing Roast Duck was definitely the highlight — perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. One bite and I was completely blown away! The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone and would love to come back again.

I had an incredible dining experience at Jiang Nian. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The Peking duck was perfectly prepared — crispy skin, tender meat, and beautifully presented with fresh scallions, cucumber, and soft pancakes. Every bite felt refined and expertly balanced.

We’ve dined at Jiang Nan in Syosset multiple times with our family, and every visit has been reliably excellent — the flavors are rich, the ingredients taste fresh, and each dish feels thoughtfully prepared. Our absolute must-order is the Peking duck. The skin is beautifully crisp, the meat is tender and flavorful, and the whole presentation feels special every time. We also love the Grand Marnier prawns, which strike that perfect balance of sweetness and citrusy brightness without being overpowering. The pork belly is melt-in-your-mouth tender with just the right amount of richness, and the sweet and sour pork is perfectly crisp on the outside with a vibrant, well-balanced sauce. The bacon and vegetable claypot rice is deep and packed with flavor, and the stir-fried string beans are always cooked just right — blistered, garlicky, and impossible to stop eating. Even the vegetable dishes shine here. For dessert, we always order the fried milk custard from the dim sum menu (even if we’re not there specifically for dim sum). It’s lightly crisp on the outside, creamy and delicate inside, and just sweet enough — the perfect ending to a big family meal. The vibe is modern, elegant, and great for both special occasions and casual family dinners. The service is attentive and friendly. The only critique regarding service is that the dishes tend to come out very quickly, sometimes all at once. It would make the experience even better if they spaced out the courses a bit more so you can fully enjoy each dish while it’s at its peak. Overall, Jiang Nan has been consistent, and we’ll keep coming back. If you’re in the Syosset area and craving high-quality Chinese cuisine, this place is definitely worth visiting.
