My first time here. See pic of receipt. Cheap price !! I got general tso lunch special. Container weighed about 5 pounds. Lol. I got ant 12 big nugs, broccoli rice. Was hot, not too spicy, right amount of flavor i like, and fast service !! I traveled 25 minutes to try it out, and it was worth the trip. I’m exploring the area as well.

Got the c23 with beef skewers as substitution from the spring roll. Dined in food took about 15 minutes. Boneless ribs were really flavorful but the texture of jerky, kinda chewy and some other piece were tender but that’s because of the fat, food was warm. Beef skewers were also good and flavorful, nice and tender but was warm when it came out. Fried rice was not bad, slightly dry. Chicken wings were the only thing hot that came out. They were good nothing special. Overall not a bad place for a quick bite, 6.8/10

Overall the food is ok. My husband likes it more than I do. My biggest issue is that the crab rangoon is sweet instead of savory. Ugh! I just can’t order it. And don’t get me started about duck sauce. No matter how much food you order there’s only 1 half-full tiny cup of duck sauce per meal. And if you ask for another, there’s an additional cost. Seems like an easy way to make customers happy would be to stop being so stingy with a simple, inexpensive condiment.

Who needs Thanksgiving turkey when you can have yummy Chinese food! We had lo mein, sesame chicken, sweet & sour shrimp, fried rice, mushu pork, egg rolls, wonton soup, and tea – the thing that hit the spot the most for us was the soup maybe cuz it was a chilly night and we were hungry and it was just so warm and delicious. Honestly everything was good – our server was good too – very prompt and communicative about what was coming next and making sure we had everything we needed. Thanks! Will be back!!

The food was ‘ok’… What we had wasn’t top rated, but not bad. Teriyaki beef was good, egg foo young was average

This is the best Chinese food in town. The only thing that Lucky Star does better is wonton soup (way more veggies).

I recommend the chicken wings, the boneless spareribs, and the beef teriyaki – all three are very moist, tender, and flavorful.

We moved to Kennebunk 6 years ago. We got take out here and were so excited to have fresh, well prepared Asian food. The service was great. In the past 2 years it just seems like every time we go it is worse. Lack of attention to detail, indifferent service. Last visit the food was 20 minutes late, came out soggy and lukewarm. The only good news was while waiting I had a drink at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and attentive.

We gave this restaurant a second try and what a mistake. Good lord. The food is awful. We dropped $90 for some takeout and threw almost all of it away. The beef teriyaki was the only thing worth eating. Sesame chicken was chewy and dry, the rangoons were gross, the egg and spring rolls were barely edible. I hate wasting food, but threw it all in the trash.
