One of the best hot dogs I ever had! Amazing Texas Weiner, had snap, a zesty, spicy chili, with small pieces of onion, hot dog was long and tasty.
One slight drawback was the bottom of the bun which became somewhat soggy while eating . But, really, a great experience. Highly recommend!

I use to come here as a kid back in the 70’s and 80’s came back in 2017 and now in Dec. 2024 and they still the same. Damn good hot dogs, service was great and atmosphere was very pleasant, and the price was even better. 2 dogs with everything and an order of fries, $10.88. Even found parking for my semi truck.

I had the chili and onions with no mustard. The dogs were good, but the chili was nothing special tbh. The chili was dry and bland with no flavor whatsoever. Maybe if I had the mustard it would have been less dry, but regardless, the chili should be a little more moist with some flavor. I can’t give it a three star because if I had a dog with the simple ketchup and mustard, I dont think I’d have anything to complain about. The chili and onion I’d give a 2. It was nothing special to make you want to return.

I went there Friday after about three years a bad hot dog and fries that weren’t fully cooked, Friday I ordered 2 TW with everything wrapped separately. They gave me one fresh and one that was sitting on the counter when I came in the store. I told him I didn’t want that hotdog had already leaked through the paper. He took my money and refused to give me 2 fresh hot dogs, he shoved the bag at me with that nasty, cold hot dog, soggy bun that was dissolved the small side. Done, I’ll just go back to smelling them from the pick it store.

Mom and Pop type of food place. I loved it. Had a hot dog with onions, chili, and mustard. And a cheeseburger with fried onions with French fries. Affordable, good food and good service. Sonya was a great waitress, and the two guys cooking were great. You can tell they care. Place is old school looking but very clean.

Hands down J&G makes the best Texas Wieners. Been to all the others in the area, and they are simply no where near as good as J&G. Plus you still cant beat the price as well. Love this place

Being from Texas, I was skeptical but intrigued. I just had to see if their Texas Dog was done right. Well, it was! It wasn’t high end, but it was very tasty. The cheesesteak was really good as well. It is loaded with shaved beef.

The best place locally for good tasty hotdogs! Whenever I’m in town I have to make a stop. Quick service, great food!
