The restaurant is close to our home and the menu was appealing so we ordered for dinner the other night. This is the second time we’ve ordered food to go here.
Overall the food was good. The flavor of the Hawaiian burger with the Teryaki sauce was really good. The fries weren’t the freshest when we opened the box, but when you order to go, anything fried loses some of the freshness. The lobster roll was good, maybe a touch salty, but overall pretty good and fresh.
I can’t really comment on the service or atmosphere as we’ve never eaten in here, but there always seems to be a lively and fun atmosphere when passing by with the live music and outdoor patio etc. A staff member was there when I came in the door and when I asked about the food they showed me the shelf. They were kind and courteous.
Personally, I’d like to try one time and eat in vs take out so we could experience the atmosphere – and food is always fresher when served at the table also. The menu has a lot of variety so there’s something for everyone.

My grandma, dogs, and I came for lunch on Wednesday and our server, Lauren, was so amazing! We got the French dip and Crab Cake lunch special and food was amazing, portions great. Our pups got the salmon and rice and gobbled it down! My grandma kept saying how great Lauren was because she came right out with a dog bowl and was so sweet to the pups! Lauren is a great server and we come often, we will def be back!

First time visit to JF Kicks (Tuesday), and they had Karaoke with Bill as DJ. It was very nice. Didn’t realize there were so many talented people in Brandon. The food was delicious, especially the Swee potato fries. Staff were very friendly and attentive. And there was a friendly crowd. Highly recommend for an evening of entertainment and laughs.

Had my boyfriend order a side of fries for take out. They must have changed their fries recently. Tiny bit of seasoning and honestly, they look like McDonald’s fries. I know inflation and the economy sucks but these fries are so depressing. For years I’ve been upset with the slow service there and messing up orders. They never remember to send home ranch when I order take out fries. I stopped eating there about a year ago due to the painfully slow service. My boyfriend still goes every Saturday for some reason and dinner always takes about two hours but he brings me home a takeout order of fries and they never remember the ranch and tonight was the night I decided to leave a review. The McDonald’s fries….

We had THE best time this past Saturday night at Kicks! We had a large party celebrating my husband’s birthday and were there for the Johnny B comedy show. The staff (Ashley) gave phenomenal service, the food was delicious, the show was fantastic and the manager, Tamra, made sure everything was perfect! 10 out of 10 recommend!!!! Order shrimp, overcooked no seasoning. Serving staff sub to par And that’s being kind great band but too loud for dinner. Next time I go to the place it’ll only be to dance and enjoy music. Definitely not a place for dinner or to socialize with your table.

1st time here last Friday. Had the all you can eat fish and fries with coleslaw and it was so delicious! Couldn’t even finish the 2nd piece! The drinks were nice & smooth too! Happy hour was going til 7:30. The service was crazy good. They were super busy and still continuously checked on our table. The live band tied it all together and made it one of the best nights out I’ve had. I would definitely make the hour drive back. This place is something special!

I would only recommend eating here if you want cold food and the buck to be passed. Food runner blaims the waiter and vice versa I’ve waited for food for the better part of an hour. Maybe your experience may be better of you come on a different day at a different time or have a different server. But do you really want to take that chance? Go somewhere better.
