Ordered a chicken curry bowl, seaweed salad m, and hot green tea. Four stars as I loved the fresh flavor of the seaweed salad and powdered matcha in the tea. Service was as expected; really great how they listen to your order as you please.

I’ve been here twice just because we were in a hurry and wanted something easy, close to home. I have just left both times feeling, “eh”…not terrible but not great. I would never go out of my way to eat here. I’ve tried the chicken bowl and some ramen…both were just average. I think I could find something at the grocery store that would taste quite similarly. Service is good though, everyone is friendly and happy to see you.

I am a regular at this place. Sam the owner is amazing, the fish is always fresh. They are very personable, and extremely reasonable for price. I don’t know why it’s gotten a 3.6 rating. So fun to eat sushi before a movie

Reason why Im giving this 2 stars is based on the service. The food is pretty standard, but tastes fresh. Last visit I was there the waitress had a very bad attitude, only took our drink and appetizers order, then completely ignored us. I even waved at her AND made eye contact with her and she completely passed us off. The only way i was able to pay was to ask another waitress who was taking care of an entire different section. Only time this place is good is when ordering to-go.

Only 3 stars because the sushi was average for southern California. Nothing crazy special here. Our waitress didnt give us a single refill or even give us our menus. My wife went to the podium and grabbed them herself. Our waitress took our drink orders after about 5 minutes of waiting. The sushi is meh. And it all came out to $30 for 2 rolls water and sprite. So in conclusion average sushi, basically no service, and average high prices. You decide.

Food was delicious! The place itself is kinda small so it can get pretty cramped if it’s busy.
The sushi bar is in the back corner, this is a good spot for some quick sushi/food before or after your movie. This is connected to the movie theater so not a far walk at all.

I feel as if this Japanese Café specializes more in sushi because the Chicken Ramen choice wasn’t quite delicious. This is a biased review, but personally I didn’t like it. Customer service is beyond superb!

It’s decent place. The food is of good quality. The chef is a nice man, but they have some unusual practices. For starters, the job application asks for GPAs and extracurricular activities. Second, if you decide to do a take out order, they will only begin cooking when you come for the order. I don’t go here anymore for that reason. The sole purpose of us calling in was to get at pick up, when a half hour goes by and it’s still not ready, that’s just absurd. We left and just went to Texas Roadhouse.
