Ignore all the poor reviews from their opening week. Ignore the reviews from people who don’t understand southern style chicken. Ignore all the reviews of the impatient people of the world and give this place your business. We finally after years have a good chicken joint in the area and people feel the need to dump on it. Probably people that have never left Jefferson County. Does the chicken have some spice, sure does and it’s fantastic. The biscuits are blessed by the heavens. The Mac n cheese takes me back to high school, and the shrimp is out of sight! Plus if you like, you can play games of chance next door. How can you fault a business on providing good food and an additional revenue stream.

This location offers a decent quality product at a fair value. The chicken is cajun-esq seasoned, so there is a mild level of capsaicin heat to it. A person can get enough chicken to stuff themselves full for about $12. Their largest family size is $42, but its a 12 piece + tenders + sides. Last i checked, KFC was charging 40 for a 12 piece bucket.
Chicken tenders are large, well breaded, and well cooked. The Bone in chicken is very juicy, arguably too juicy, i would almost prefer a minute more in the fryer but it is thoroughly cooked and tasty. Legs were seasoned well, but the wings were a little salty.
The sides that are part of their Krunch boxes are a little small, thinking 5 spoon fulls of mac n cheese. In 2003 this would ding them a star, but its 2025 and popeyes and kfc have the same issue.
The nuggets are not nuggets, they are chicken bites or popcorn chicken.
Biscuits are kinda trash, but on par with every other “fast food” biscuit. Definitely not the star of the show.
The slot machines are a blight, and I was happy to see them sitting unused at dinner time.
Overall: The next closest fried chicken place is 30+ miles away, and this place aint bad. Ordered and in under 10 minutes, i was out the door with a sack of food.

The restaurant was clean, should be for being new.
My visit was on a Friday right at the start of lunch.
Steady amount of customers but not crowded or backed up.
When I stepped to the counter two employees made eye contact but no greeting or a “someone will be right with you” which was fine since it was my first time being in this restaurant. The lady that did take my order greeted me with a smile and answered my questions.
I ordered the Chicken sandwich box and the three piece tenders box.
I really did not know much about this brand. Did not realize it was all “spicy”.
The sandwich was too spicy for the other person with me and a bit more spice than I care for.
The tenders were good sized, well cooked and juicy. Spice on the tenders I think was just right.
Coleslaw was good and the potatoes wedges could have been a bit more crispy.

The chicken tenders had an amazing seasoning. Spices were spot on, a great kick that makes the food extremely flavorful. Didn’t even end up using my dipping sauce. Extremely juicy chicken, will be back!

Better than KFC! Only customers at the time but everything was fresh and hot and no wait! Dining area felt separate from the skills machine room and was nicely decorated for the holiday.

Waited a few weeks after the opening to go. A half hour standing in line with about 6 people in front of us. Finally get to order. Told a half hour for chicken. Waited exactly one hour. Side portions are not fully filled and I did not get the potato wedges that were included with the family meal that we ordered. The staff is fine, but I feel they are understaffed and don’t have enough equipment to get the orders out. The chicken is good, but if I go again and there is a crowd I’m walking right back out the door.

Expensive and disappointing. 3pc tender meal is meaty but we couldn’t eat it bc the abundance of pepper/spice was burning our throats. Did not come with any drink, but the mashed potatoes were good. Asked for bbq sauce, got buffalo. Flat dry biscuit with no butter pkt. Casino room inside makes it a trashy vibe. Prices not on the overhead menu, which was weird; she gave us a paper instead; I guess bc they’re inflated. We won’t be back.

Food was good and seasoned well. All employees seem to still be figuring everything out out. Food was out fast and was piping hot. It was busy but staff was still friendly and took concerns for every customer and any problems that they may have. All in all it was great first experience and will definitely be back
