AMBIANCE: The front of the restaurant is pretty normal, they have a good amount of seating and a bar to sit at. You would never know there is a huge event hall attached in the back. The event hall is humongous, it has 2 bars available even though 1 was open for this night. Definitely a good place to have an event and not be too crowded. They had plenty of tables available and it didn’t get too hot.
SERVICE: We were met right away by a waitress who explained how the tables were working and led us to one. She was pretty attentive the entire night and answered all of my questions as this was my first time here.
FOOD & DRINK: I throughly enjoyed the plate of picadera we got. We ordered the size for one person to share and it was plenty for 2 people. It came hot and fresh and was delicious. The drinks on the other hand were disappointing. The drinks were $12 each which I assume is up charged because there’s a performance. I would assume for $12 I’m getting a nicely sized drink in a glass and it tastes good. We ordered 2 mojitos which you could tell was pre made in a big jar and just poured out. There wasn’t any muddled mint or lime in the cup. It just tasted like lime sprite. I was really disappointed in that. They were also charging $165 for a bottle for the table which I thought was a bit much. So I know for next time to pregame at the house before going out there.
PERFORMANCE: Kinito was great. I had so much fun! He came out at a good time, maybe 8PM and the event started at 6PM. I left after his first set so around 9:30PM. I’m assuming he had a second set since the event said it ended at 12AM but it was a Sunday night so I didn’t want to stay too late. He was an amazing performer.

I ordered rice and beans with boneless chicken for Pickup at the restaurant.
the lady said it would take 30 minutes for my food to be ready, Once I am there, She tells me she doesn’t know who took my order and I have to wait…
It took 10 mins for them to find the server, then she tells me to wait some more!
After 20 mins of waiting I ask her again about my food, She then rudely tells me with a nasty attitude that the restaurant is busy and I need to wait.
Mind you, A lady ordered a Mofongo, got her order and left while I was still there waiting for 1 hour for her to tell me that they are going to start making the order. SHE FORGOT MY ORDER and catches an attitude with me.
I will take my money somewhere else. I used to order every week and sometimes they would be very late and food would be cold! and it would not be an issue. But when you get disrespectful you lose more than a customer, you lose reputation and recommendations.
A busy kitchen is understood, But I wont step anywhere where I get my food with attitude.
