In 1978, Jet’s Pizza founder Eugene Jetts was about to buy a new home. But on the way there, his passion for pizza took over. Instead, he signed a lease on a space that would become the first Jet’s location. Along with his brother and partner John, they opened the doors to Jetts Party Shoppe & Pizzeria in Sterling Heights, MI. The pizza world would never be the same. They were about to make history by offering a truly, better pizza. And now, over 40 years later, we’re at the top of the list when it comes to crave and taste. Try an authentic Detroit-Style pizza today. Only at Jet’s.

First time trying Jet’s and I feel like I just unlocked a cheat code. That pizza? Crispy, cheesy, and built like it lifts weights. I’m talking edges so perfectly golden they deserve their own spotlight. I took one bite and had to sit down like, “Wait… is this love?”
And don’t even get me started on the wings. Juicy. Saucy. Straight-up personality. Like they showed up to the party with flavor and vibes.
Honestly, Jet’s didn’t just deliver food, they delivered an experience. I’m now emotionally attached. I might start writing sonnets.
Catch me back there soon, ordering like I’ve been a loyal customer since ’97.
I was waiting by the counter to pick up my order — when the woman walking past noticed me, she rolled her eyes as she approached the register. I get that a person might be busy, but that’s not an appropriate way to say hello.
I checked my order before leaving the store, and saw that my salad had plain black olives instead of the Kalamata olives I ordered, but I ignored that. I did go back to the counter, though, to ask for the beets that had been left off of the salad. The guy I asked brought me *one* slice of beet — picture below.
I wasn’t up for addressing things further, so I just left. But I really don’t think it’s worth trying again.
