Jesus’s pronounced (Hay-Soos) Mexican Grill began in the summer of 2023. Our founders’ goal was simple. To open a fast food restaurant dishing out delicious authentic Mexican food, served fresh, made from scratch, with everyday prices. We are passionate with our dishes using only the finest and freshest ingredients prepared daily. The cuisine of Mexico is a worldwide sensation. Holy smokes! As a latino who grew up in south, south, south Texas this is definitely a find in Troy!!!! So glad I got to bring parents here while they were visiting from the valley. The portion are huge at least for the grilled chicken burrito and the Superrrr wet burrito. The Mexican rice and pinto beans reminded me of home. 10 out of 10 a spot that taste a little like home! We plan to come back for taco Tuesday and torta Thursday!!!
This review has been edited 2 days after our first visit and spending $90 for meal and tip. Trying to go back and and try this place out on taco Tuesday for their $2 chicken tacos. Tried the special on uber, doordash, on their website and after not being able to find it after they said it was there i tried to call and pay over the phone. A simple order. 3 chicken tacos and take my money. The man spent more time on the phone telling me that he was busy and that it was online the to back track and say it’s for walkins only. He could have placed my ordered, took my money and I bowould be on my way to pick up. This was a massive bummer after stopping by for the first time and loving it.

Get. The. Quesadilla. Oh my god, the tortilla alone is enough to make it worth your while but this place goes the extra mile to fully load up tat quesadilla so it is STUFFED AND SOOO FLAVORFUL. My husband got the barria and was equally impressed. They do have pepsi products on the fountain but they have glass jaritos, sprite and coke with real sugar not corn syrup! Before you go, grab the flan!! Perfect creamy smooth texture and deliciously sweet. The perfect way to finish off your meal with a little something sweet highly highly recommend!!

A small place that is serving BIG flavored food. Honestly some of the best food I’ve had. The birria is life changing. Their tacos are packed with meat which is so good, you don’t even need toppings. If you can, stop by on Tuesdays when chicken tacos are only $2!!

The place quite busy on the take-out end, that to me is an indicator to how good the food is. It didn’t disappoint!! The beef tacos were not over seasoned nor under, it had the right balance of flavor. The nachos supreme was huge, enough for 2 people. Will be coming back with my daughter who goes to Sage, a block away. The staff was friendly even under the pressure of that huge take out order! The prices were not expensive at all. Looking forward to coming back. I think there’s a crunch wrap calling my name!!!

Great find for authentic Mexican Food in the Troy area!! We stopped by before a show and had the Crunchwrap and the Grilled Cheese Burrito. Both were delicious and HUMONGOUS!! Their chocolate horchata was a unique treat that I’m glad I tried and we ended our meal with their churros -crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and seasoned perfectly! Very small space for dine in – just four tables, but adequate as long as there isn’t a large crowd! Would definitely recommend! Fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations – and you’d be supporting a local business!

To start with: “churros” does not mean 1 churro cut into 2 pieces, especially for $5. That said—I almost went back and bought another because it was so damn delicious.
Now that my only demerit is out of the way, please let me say that you should 100000% go here. This restaurant to me is like someone finally capitalized on the idea of taking Taco Bell’s menu and making it with good, top notch ingredients, and it is PERFECTION. To start with, we got the crunchwrap with beef, the seasonal birria ramen with chicken and a boiled egg added on, the grilled cheese tacos with chicken and pico, a side of guac and cup of Jamaica. The top item was the crunchwrap, the ramen was super rich and creative, and the tacos were great but not as good as the crunchwrap. Surprisingly—the guac was good but not necessary, everything else already had plenty of flavor and the hot sauce was so tasty. We saved room for dessert and had the aforementioned churro that looked burnt and tasted like childhood (cinnamon toast as a churro!!) and horchata, and were still hungry after the churro (the only item I can complain that was lacking portion-wise) so went back to order the flan (also stellar!!).
I can’t wait to come back and try more stuff. I plan to eat through the whole menu eventually. And I have hopes that one day the churro will multiply into actually churros because I wanted more… So yummy!

A foodie’s dream. Everything we’ve had has been delicious. Prices are great. Food quality top notch. Service is great: for fast food, they still run it to the tables. Atmosphere 4 due to overuse of plastics and lack of indoor seating, but outdoor space is cute and cleanliness gets great marks.
