Wonderful food. Service, atmosphere and food is always good. Family owned and run since 1968 and I have been coming here since 2005. The best homemade Tex-Mex in Fort Worth.

We went for lunch Friday to get some of that famous fried chicken. Unfortunately, we were informed, they had no chicken.
We fell back to tostadas and Mexican Dinner #1. OMG. So good. Full of flavor and expertly prepared.
Friendly wait staff. Clean, comfortable restaurant.
We parked on tge street, but I think there’s a lot behind the restaurant.

Jesus Family Restaurant – A True Hidden Gem!
If you’re looking for authentic home-cooked flavors, Jesus Family Restaurant is the spot! The food is fresh, hot, and packed with flavor, just like Grandma Maria’s kitchen. The service is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Great vibes, great people, and even better food—this place is a must-try!

Best chicken fried steak and enchiladas that you can eat!!! Chips and salsa are so fresh and delicious. Sweet tea to wash it down.

Hole in the wall family place that offers authentic tex-mex at great value. Incredibly huge portions. Amazingly friendly service – the people here make you feel like you’re part of the family. Food will fill you up and more.
This place is frequented mostly by locals so you know it’s good. 🙂
Also they have homemade pies for dessert that sell out quickly.
Worth braving a long walk through an empty and dodgy street to get here. The neighborhood is undergoing gentrification.

I came in here yesterday 1/27/26 because it was one of the few places open and in walking distance to me during this snow storm we had. I ordered nachos. Had that around 2pm. Around 4am this morning 1/28/26 I threw up my soul. My stomach is extremely upset. I definitely got food poisoning and am now unable to go to work today after being out of work already for 5 days.

Do NOT come here. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TERRIBLE PLACE. Google said open til five, bend over backwards to find the stupid tiny parking lot. Park and go in by 4 pm. Or try to. Walk all around, doors are locked. Walk ALL THE WAY AROUND to the front. Guess what? Closed until new years. That’s fine, but update your hours online. So, stopped at another little restaurant on the walk back around. Trying to support small businesses, you know? COME BACK TO MY CAR WITH A THREATENING MESSAGE MY LICENSE WAS DOCUMENTED AND I WILL BE TOWED OR BOOTED NEXT TIME. REALLY?? I called immediately, of course NO ANSWER, even though of course someone was there to put the sticker there to begin with. Meanwhile of course this huge sticker on my window does not peel off easily and leaves a bunch of residue. Forget that. Will NEVER support your stupid business. Hope no one else does either and you go under like you deserve.

Love this place. So authentic. Food was right 40 years ago, so why change. Get a fried pie. The crust makes it. Also, go with the daily special, you Win!
