I love supporting small family restaurants like this. The space feels very open, clean, and welcoming, and the atmosphere is great every time we visit. The food is always delicious. I personally love their papa asada, and my boyfriend is obsessed with their barbacoa tacos. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. Definitely one of our go-to spots for Tex-Mex.

This was our first time trying tacos from Jesse’s Tex Mex, and we placed a to-go order. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean the restaurant was. I was quickly greeted by a friendly staff member who took my order.
Bottom line: this is a great spot for tacos at a fantastic price point. The tacos were solid. I’d give them 4 out of 5 stars for taste, and the portion sizes were generous. We tried the carne guisada, bacon and egg, and potato and egg tacos.
The only downside was the salsa, which I found quite bland. Still, we’ll definitely be back.

The food was delicious and worth the 30 minute wait. I imagine 30 minutes isn’t normal but there was a large order ahead of me and the person at the counter (owner I think) let me pick a drink from the cooler to make up for my wait. We will definitely be back! My fiancé said these are the best chilequiles he’s found in town.

Very, very, very good! 5 STARS! A real hidden gem but worth the trip. Jesse is so nice and provides outstanding service (plus he never forgets napkins, sauces or whatever else you need for your order). So glad I saw someone mention this place on Reddit and gave it a try. Going forward it is gonna be in the regular rotation.

It’s definitely a “hole in the wall” restaurant — and just like they say, those are always the best! Everything was delicious, and the homemade tortillas were amazing. The food tasted just like home. This place RISES ABOVE most Restaurants in town that serve this type of food. Not to mention they keep it diverse with multiple options that will bring tears to your eyes with every bite!
