Simply the best and customer service is so sweet. I appreciate that they have mastered the classics- beans are delicious, rice perfectly seasoned, asada seasoned and charred to perfection, and topped with their delicious salsa. Also have great breakfast burritos.

One of my top 3s but for sure hands down to JESSES TDM for bringing that fast quick on the run burrito. When it comes to Jesse and another taqueria Jesse always makes me turn right and just stop there because there is never any disappointment. For sure Jesse never fails with Satisfaction and Fullness. Unique hard shell taco platters no doubt! Best thing is the humble people, the atmosphere always clean. They make that order with love, cleaninsess and wellness all the time. Good food but they put time over performance. Ordered 3 pollo tacos and 2 asada burritos. Received only the 2 burritos and completely missing the 3 pollo tacos. Yes that’s my fault for not double checking. But I put my trust in a place I’ve ordered from multiple times. Double check your items!!!!!!!!! Even if you’ve oredered here before. That’s 10 dollars they fooled me out of. I’ll let it slide but will make sure y’all keep and eye out for their pricing of items you won’t receive.

Good food, best burritos and tacos dorados . Their combos are a great deal, I come here once a week. Only complaint is that the music they play is so loud and I can barely hear them when I call. They blast the music too loud and they have gotten my order wrong a few times.

Love the environment and food , in my opinion this place is the best to get burritos and if you have time in the morning , they you should try the chilaquiles . Its a breakfast item so you have to get it in the morning but man do i love this place and all the love they put in that food .

Stopped in for a quick lunch, this is a no-frills taco shop, serving good food on paper plates, just what I was looking for. The sign of a good taco shop is determined by the meat they serve, Cabeza is a good sign, Lengua is a bonus. Jesse’s does them both and they do them well. I look at the meat to connective tissue ratio and Jesse’s is mostly meat. Both were very tender and with a good flavor. Classically served with onions and cilantro with a salsa verde and tortillas with a slight sweetness. It was all good, being from San Diego, I had to put my expectations on a lower level. If these were served in San Diego I would give them a 4 out of 5. The drawbacks would be too many onions, the tortillas and they didn’t have Mexican Coke (Coke in a glass bottle). All in all I would eat here again, hopefully on a weekend so I can try the Menudo.

Asada tacos were my favorite. The meat is seasoned heavily, and on the salty side(which I prefer).
Burritos are a decent size, with only rice, beans, salsa, and meat. The other meats were okay, mostly just marinated. This place really reminds me of a Tijuana taco shop.
The only other spot I’d recommend outside of this one, is The Taco Shop off of Saviers (better meat quality, and fresh tortillas). Overall, I’d say this place ranks second in Oxnard for tacos.

Q’ Bole
Tacos were bad- bad-bad! If you want to get a stomach ache and more… Go at your own risk. I was recommended this place by a friend and I would like to think it’s inflation that has cause this place to start buying cheap meat and the taste in tacos is not the same. None of the tacos I ordered had any flavor. The “carne Asada meat” was just salty but didn’t taste like meat, “al pastor” was marinated but didn’t have any flavor, the burrito has more rice and beans than meat but in this case was good cuz the beans had more flavor than the meat. They don’t give you any lemons, radishes like other places and they only put salsa on the tacos if you asked for it when you ordered but not extra.
While we were eating there was an employee washing and/or cleaning something with “harsh strong” chemicals that the whole restaurant was penetrated with the smell. This only made our experience worse.
Definitely not coming back or giving it a second try. 2 stars because the lady at the register was nice.
