We started with hummus and warm pita — simple, but fresh and flavorful. For the main course, I went with a beef shawarma platter that came with rice, salad, and freshly baked pita bread. The meat was well-seasoned and juicy, with that char‑grilled flavor that really hits if you’ve missed good kebabs. The rice was fluffy, the salads light and fresh, and the pita was warm and soft — perfect for scooping up dips or wrapping around meat. Everything felt generous portion‑wise; I left feeling full but not overstuffed.
One thing that stands out about Jerusalem Bakery & Grill is the variety. Whether you’re in the mood for shawarma, kabobs, vegan‑friendly platters, or just some fresh baked bread and pastries — there’s something for almost any craving. I appreciated that flexibility; it’s not just “one type of meal,” but a full Middle Eastern‑style spread, done well. Their vegetarian/falafel and veggie‑platter options looked good too, which is nice if you’re not after heavy meat-heavy meals.
Service was friendly and down‑to‑earth. Staff checked in just enough, refilled drinks, helped with sauces and suggestions when we asked — without being overbearing. The atmosphere stayed relaxed even when the place got busy, which made the meal feel chill and unhurried.
If you want honest food with real flavor, a cozy but casual vibe, and generous portions — especially something beyond the usual burger/pizza — Jerusalem Bakery & Grill is a solid pick. I’d definitely go back next time I’m in the mood for good Middle Eastern food.
Service is too slow – it took forever to get food, not overly busy day. Looks like they got rise of commercial grill and installed small 6 burners grill – takes forever to cook kebabs.
In plastic container, quantity was less as well. Not satisfied at all. ( see the cheap plastic tray in the picture). Disgusting to eat in cheap plastic.
I loved coming here but now I will think about it.
Despite the service and cutlery concerns, the food itself made the trip worthwhile.
On the positive side, the dining area was clean and well-maintained, and there was plenty of parking. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, the sandwiches are much cheaper than the plates.
The spicy chicken kabob was delicious and had a great flavor to it, the falafel on the veggie plate were delicious too. It had the salad, babaganuj, hummus, and rice. Overall a great place for some excellent food and bakery items to look for.
