I’ve never felt so unseen, it took them 45 minutes to START making my sandwich, waiting for 45 minutes is one thing but after 45 minutes you begin to make my sandwich, that’s incredibly disrespectful. The lobby was body on top of body, I felt buried alive. A sandwich shop has never left me so violated… the sandwich itself did taste good though.

I always order from this location when ordering through DoorDash and have never had an issue. Today, I placed an order through DoorDash and my food was stolen. After being remade, the 3rd dasher assigned to my delivery picked up the order and then cancelled the delivery. Noah was an angel, he was super apologetic and tried his best to get me my sandwich, which didn’t happen. We did however have a laugh at how ridiculous the situation was which made everything a little better. I hope Noah sees this and knows how much I appreciate him!

Ordered food online last Sunday for delivery. They kept delaying it and over 3 hours later say they completed the order but we never received our food. Called 7 times during this process and no one ever answered. Called the next day talk to someone and get a refund since I was still charged-no answer. If your THAT busy-stop taking orders. And don’t lie and say you completed it when 3 delivery drivers and your online system say otherwise. I couldn’t even cancel the order because the website said I had to call the store-who never answered. You can’t sustain a business with that kind of service and lack of management.
Never again. Multiple customers lost.

i’m genuinely dumbfounded at my experience here. i went in and they told me and 3 other people that they had to no bread. but then the other people left and i ordered a wrap and he started making it as a sandwich (with bread that magically appeared) and he THREW it across the restaurant. the workers were not helpful and moving at a sloths pace. at one point he took a break to turn on the music. i was looking around thinking maybe there’s a camera bc this was literally not real. come here if u want to feel like a subject of an impractical jokers episode.

tonight was the iron man run so it was incredibly busy. Everyone decided to order ahead which led to a huge backup. Alisha was working her first day and she absolutely killed it! 80% of people were being incredibly impatient over something none of the people working could control. Alisha and the two others working deserve a raise. They all handled the situation beautifully anyone who complains otherwise doesn’t understand the stress of a rush ESPECIALLY on state street.

I order a lot from this company and twice they have not delivered my food that is $30 for a sub sandwich with delivery. They took my money but never delivered my food not refund me my money considering it’s over priced! This says a lot about the company that I have yet to receive food twice or my refund and no one will help me not door dash nor Jersey Mikes! Talk about robbing people!!!!

During my recent visit to Jersey Mike’s Subs on State Street, I opted for takeout during the bustling graduation weekend at UW-Madison. I chose the #13 The Original Italian and personalized my sub, by adding mayo, banana peppers, and pickles. I was pleased to find that upon my arrival, my order was promptly prepared and ready for me, despite the busyness of downtown Madison and the Jersey Mike’s location.

The #13 The Original Italian sub proved to be a solid choice, satisfying my cravings for a flavorful and hearty meal. The combination of meats and provolone created a delectable blend of savory flavors, and the additional condiments of mayo, banana peppers, and pickles added a nice kick and tangy twist. I appreciated the opportunity to customize my sub according to my preferences, and Jersey Mike’s delivered in terms of taste and variety.

However, there was one notable downside to my experience. The bread on my sub was excessively wet due to an overwhelming amount of red wine vinegar. While I understand that vinegar can be a key component in Italian subs, the saturation of the bread took away from the overall enjoyment. It would have been preferable to have a more balanced distribution of flavors to avoid the dripping wetness that affected the texture and overall experience of the sub.

Despite the bread issue, I would still rate my experience at Jersey Mike’s Subs on State Street a solid 4 out of 5. The efficiency of the service during a busy weekend was commendable, and the flavors of the sub were satisfying and customizable. If you find yourself in need of a quick bite to eat in the area, I would recommend giving Jersey Mike’s Subs a try. Just be cautious about the excessive use of red wine vinegar and ensure that your sub doesn’t suffer from the same issue.

I have to say I never ever review but I really wanted to take the time and leave one for this restaurant because of what I noticed.

1) When I came to leave a review, I noticed not many kind ones. Sure some may be overpriced but they give so much than other brands.

2) I really enjoyed how friendly the staff was. I was welcomed in, and as a first timer didn’t fully understand the way to order. That being said, the Manager there who I believe was a girl with blonde hair? She was super friendly and let me know how to use it. I guess being new you get a free cookie too. Definitely a bonus.

3) The speed was insane. You could tell they have some newer staff but the manager there was really helping. It was super fun to watch. I was surprised that amongst all the busy orders that they had, her team killed it.

Bonus: I am writing the review so late because I didn’t finish my other half and it’s still pretty good being refrigerated! Cheers!
