Foul and disgusting! I can only imagine how many people got food poisoning on this day. Visited this Eastgate store Saturday 2/21 at lunch time so it was rather busy. After order our 2 sandwiches it was time for the add ons. That is when we walked out of the store. The lettuce being served was mostly brown and to make it worse, the mayonnaise was congealed around the sides of its container. This is not the kind of congealing that occurs quickly, this was thick on the edges and darker tan than you would ever want to see. It would not have surprised me if it was like that for a day or 2 solidifying, and just refilled without cleaning. So, how was the sandwich you may ask? We immediately walked out and never would I go back. Disgusting! We love Jersey Mikes and I have happily reviewed others. This Eastgate one should be closed, cleaned and new owners and management found. Foul and disgusting! I do wish I grabbed a couple of pictures and sorry I did not, I just wanted out!

Currently at the 50 minute mark waiting for our 2 subs in an empty dining room. 2 workers are cleaning/stocking, and one is in the back doing something else. They have yet to cook our subs, but they have asked us 3 separate times now what we ordered. They do seem sincerely apologetic, but the disorganization is impressive.

Received a free regular from Jersey Mike’s app for my birthday. Ordered it from the Eastgate location today. Prepared quickly, just as I ordered it. I love that you all offer the bowls option for those that don’t eat bread. The ability to customize and special order in the app is great. Love love love Jersey Mike’s. Thank you!

The old blonde lady that takes your bread, meat, and cheese order is extremely rude. If you don’t order the sandwich the way she wants you to order it you will be snipped at, if you double check something about your sandwich you will get snipped at. She clearly makes the staff and customers feel uncomfortable with her rudeness to innocent people who just want a sandwich. Can’t even imagine being that miserable of a person. Very sad. Rest of staff is great, sandwiches always slap.

Stopped to get a sub for my father-in-law. Lady running the place was extremely rude. Didn’t greet me. Said we couldn’t get a free drink when didn’t even ask. Put a cookie on top of chips. She said normally people put the chips on the center of the counter. Felt unwelcome. Not going back!

I went Saturday at around 530 PM and it was terrible. We walked in and stood in line with 5 other people for about 15 mins. Not a single word from an employee. The poor door dasher at the pick up counter waited about 20 more mins for his order too. The guy who took our orders was not friendly and it did not seem like any of the employees wanted us in the store. The floor looked like it hasn’t been swept or mopped in weeks and the tables clearly hadn’t been wiped down all day. I am not normally critical of food places but this was a bad experience.

I ordered a #17 with no peppers, saw the guy start to make it and put peppers on it. I asked if that was mine, it was, so I reminded them that I didn’t want peppers. Then he just started to pick through it to try to get the peppers out. My husband asked if we could just get it fresh, the kid (Preston, also I assume not a child because he’s working here and seemed to be in charge (or thought he was in charge)) got an attitude. I told him it’s just because he was picking through it in front of customers and he got defensive and said it was an honest mistake. I get it, I’m not upset about the pepper incident at all. I don’t mind that the kid he was helping was clearly new and messed up – everyone messes up in life. I didn’t get an attitude with Preston at all, he immediately got one. There were two other staff members there that were fantastic, just one that possibly needs an ego check (said possibly ironically with my ego leaving this review?).

I watched them leave capocollo off my sandwich. When I asked them to make sure all the meats were on there, they gave me attitude and assured me they were all there. Well here I am eating a sandwich with no capocollo on it. They also made a #7 for the person in front of me, who ordered a #2. I’d leave zero stars if i could. At least the lady at the register was nice.
