I freaking love Jersey Mike’s. The store was clean. The food was good and staff took care of a trucker today.

I was running on fumes as I started my journey from TN earlier this am.

I had my roast beef & bacon mini on wheat. I was freaking TIRED as I just wanted to eat so I can LIGHT UP!!!

In Tuscaloo right now so I can put my eyes on my girls before I roll to Houston tomorrow.

Appreciate the good food and will def be back.

This has got to be the worst sandwich I have ever had. I ordered the 44, a buffalo chicken sub and what I got was this wet sopping mess. It also took over 15 minutes to get the sandwich. When I went to the counter to ask about it they told me they had to make a new one because the grill was messed up. I do appreciate that they tried to fix the sandwich since the first order apparently wasn’t right but this is just inedible. I will say the staff was polite and the store was clean, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone to order a #44.

I’m giving this place 5 stars. The staff went above and beyond. I ordered using the app and added some special instructions. My instructions were not very clear, so what does the restaurant do? Lea calls me to verify my order. THEY ACTUALLY CALLED ME. First time that has happened for me. I’m very grateful and thankful for that. Joshua did an amazing job preparing my complicated and picky order.

“Listen, Jersey Mike’s got it on lock The subs actually taste fresh, the bread don’t fall apart, and when you get it Mike’s Way? Game over. They serving real food, not that skimpy sub mess other places try to pass off. Worth every bite.”

Mike’s Way is undefeated, and the real MVPs are Amaya and GM Jerrell. Best team, best food — don’t argue, just eat.”

Get ready for the story of the worst service at a sandwich shop, maybe ever. We stopped in to grab four sandwiches to take out. There were two people working, one standing directly in front of us at the Order Here sign. Our presence was not acknowledged for so long we deduced that we must need to order on the app. After we’d gotten most of the way through the app process, which didn’t have the sandwich I wanted in it, when the person who had been standing in front of us for minutes said, “I’ll be with you in a minute”. We stood there for five minutes before we were acknowledged. So we moved out of line to make room for the ten or so other people waiting in line. The person in front of us, who turned out to be the manager, had an Air Pod in one ear. So we sit there waiting, watching people who came in after us get their food, albeit slowly, and leave. So 30 minutes in, my fiancée asks where our food is and was told that there were several orders in front of us. The “manager” tells us that she told us not to order in the app. She repeated this later in our dispute as well. She said no such thing. If she did, neither of us heard her because there were so many people backed up at this point it was very loud. So we sit down and patiently wait another 15 minutes. My fiancée goes back to the counter at this time because our order is ready, an order of four sandwiches. We check the order on the way out the door and there are only three sandwiches in the bag. She goes back and informs them of this. Their response was, “we’re out of steak”. Instead of letting us know that, they charged us for it anyway and hoped we wouldn’t notice I guess. So they didn’t even make my sandwich, despite the fact that I’d watched them making three Philly’s while I was sitting there for 45 minutes wondering if any of the food they were making was ours. No apologies. The manager tells the lady working on our refund that she can refund the whole order. We’re very irritated at this point. There was no explanation, no greeting when we got there, and no apology when they took 45 minutes to make 4 sandwiches and gave us 3, charging us for 4. When we finally get out of the store, they’d only refunded the sandwich we didn’t receive, despite the air-podded manager telling the cashier she could refund the whole order. They told us “you can write something online”. So here it is. No chance of us ever returning. No concern about this. I owned a restaurant. If I oversaw this level of apathy and incompetence I’d make big changes.

If you go in and the girl is making sandwiches… do yourself a favor and leave. If the guy is making them, get a sub. It will be one of the best you have had at a Jersey Mikes. The dude is a sandwich master and needs to teach the girl how to do it. The subs the girl makes sucks and is not worth half the cost. I usually go here 2x a week for the family and spend over $50 a trip, but refuse to let her make any of my sandwiches any longer

Avoid this location. Ordered online at 12:45 pm for 1:30 pm pick up. When arrived, order was not ready. Staff was serving all walk-ins before working any
online orders. By the time they got to my order (after 2:00 pm) the only meat available was turkey. I had ordered and prepaid for roast beef. I love Jersey Mike’s. But I am now forced to use another location.

4 employees. Older lady with dyed, yellow hair couldn’t be less friendly. Two (I assume) trainers yelling at each other about the best way to make a sandwich and a new employee standing there like a deer in headlights. I’ll stick with the Vestavia location.

The sandwich was amazing perfect amount of meat and cheese and not too much lettuce or onion and the perfect amount of oil and vinegar! This is better than firehouse subs I definitely recommend
