got off work late, came in right before closing about 8:50. the two guys working had no problem making my sandwich very friendly, awesome service

Came in on a Thursday and honestly felt bad for the girl working the front. She was younger with a lot of tattoos, super nice, and clearly hustling nonstop taking orders, helping customers, and running everything. I was there about 30–45 minutes from the time I sat down, ordered, and finished eating… and she was STILL going the entire time.
Meanwhile, there was a manager in the back (I think his name was John or Josh?) who I never once saw come up to help her. Not once. I even asked her if she was working alone and she said no, which made it even more wild because she was basically carrying the whole place on her back while he stayed in the back.
Food was fine, no complaints there — but watching one employee get slammed while a manager just hangs out is not a great look. Employees deserve better support than that, especially when it’s busy. That girl was doing the job of multiple people and still staying polite with everyone.
Management should probably step up and actually help their staff instead of leaving them to drown. Customers notice.

Today’s experience was much more positive than previous experiences I have had. Although it typically does take an excessive amount of time to get your food here, today was much better than the hour and a half wait I had last time when I saw 7 people walk out due to the wait. The employees were much more friendly and customer service oriented this time as well. I am glad to see that improvement. As a simple sub shop, the food is consistent, delicious and highly priced which is in line with the other locations.

I had an incredible experience at the Jersey Mike’s on 9 Mile Road, thanks to Joshua and the entire crew. From the moment I walked in, the place was spotless, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the team worked like a well oiled machine. The ingredients were fresh, the sandwiches were made with care, and the service was fast without ever feeling rushed.
I want to especially recognize Joshua, who stood out for his professionalism and passion. Watching him balance taking orders, running the kitchen, and keeping everything clean showed a level of focus and pride you don’t see every day. He moved with purpose, cleaned as he worked, and treated every detail as if it mattered, because to him, it clearly does. You can tell this is someone who genuinely loves what he does and could excel in any kitchen, from casual to fine dining.
If every location had a Joshua leading by example, Jersey Mike’s would be the gold standard of fast casual dining everywhere.

Holy crap the workers were arguing for at least 30 minutes while we were trying to eat, and the sweet lady making our subs had to deal with customers while the managers dished it out. So unprofessional. The lady behind the counter was great, I feel bad for her. 10/10 food, 1/10 professionalism.
