I love jersey mikes. I have never been to a dirty shortstaffed inhospitable jersey mikes until today. I ordered online. It was not ready by the scheduled pick up time. I had to ask them to make my online order when I got there. Which they slowly made wrong. Wrong bread and the bacon is burnt. The chicken is filled with burnt black specks from god only knows how many previous sandwiches. The big tall girl on the grill realized my chicken was full of burnt grill waste. So she proceeded to clean the flattop. But opted.to not remake my sandwich. While I was there the phone was ringing off the hook. Once I had already left and was twenty miles up the road I opened my sandwich and tried to call the store

Update i decided to try the sandwich on the drive back to raleigh. It doesn’t even taste like chicken I ate two bites and have the worst heartburn ever. It tastes like char. Two people can not successfully run a restaurant. Especially two that could care less. Worst jersey mikes experience EVER.

When I walked in at 3:30 today.nThe guy with the long hair had his finger up his nose. In Waited to see what he would do I ordered a sandwich. He wrote down the order. The other worker started cooking, he never washed his hands. Put gloves on and grab my bread for my sandwich so I canceled the order. Just to let everyone know, this is what you’re dealing with.

It’s a hit and miss with this place. When it’s a hit the subs are good. When it’s a miss, for me it’s because they don’t put enough meat on the sub. There are times when I’ve ordered a giant steak and cheese or cold cut sub and the meats are so scarce I have to take the meat off one half of my sub and put it on the other half just to have enough meat for half a sandwich. The toppings are always fresh and they always get my order right. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the inconsistency in the sub quality. Jersey Mike’s subs are way too expensive for them to ever skimp on the amount of meat to the point where you’re paying for a giant size sub and end up with only a regular size by the time you combine one half with the other half.

One worker offered free sweet tea while I had to wait. Aside from her, this was a clown show operation.

Walked in and was not greeted for 10 minutes. Never asked my name or anything. One worker walked out of bathroom on her cell phone and watched while others worked. She was in the phone the whole 30 minutes were there and when we left.This worker had to repeatedly ask customers for their order again because she forgot.(Because she was on the phone with a friend).Both sandwiches we got were soggy and not well put together at all. You would need a fork and knife to deal with that mess of a sandwich. We will not be back and it’s embarrassing for the jersey mikes name and Pembroke.

I was trying to call my order in and the Young Lady that answered the phone asked me to hold on so I yes. I was put on hold listening to everyone come in and place their order for 31 minutes and 28 seconds. Then they hung up the phone. Glad someone from our house went uptown to get us something to eat.

Never even got to order food. I was snapped at when I wanted to sub roast beef for bacon and then they completely ignored me. Hateful people and will not go back even if it was free.
