Thoughts: I ordered a #13 (Italian Sub/regular on wheat bread)and the employee was putting onions on the sub, I informed her I wanted more onions than the four or five pieces of onions that was on the sub. The employee informed me that she would have to charge me an upcharge for the onions. I asked when did this start because I have purchase subs before not so much at the Oxford location due to the poor customer service that I have rec’d in the past, but has never been charged an upcharge for onions on a sandwich. A guy (African American) maybe a manager (Fred maybe)spoke up and said I could only get up to five rings of onions and anything more would require an upcharge. First of all, Jersey Mikes has already had a price increase AND now slicing their meat way thinner than before and now they are saying to paying customers how many onions you get on a sub. I left the store DISGUSTED and empty handed. As I was leaving the guy spoke up sarcastically all loud saying you have a good day ma’am as if to get a reaction out of me. I kept walking & never looked back because he wasn’t worth me losing any oxygen over. A whole sandwich had to be discarded over some onions. How smart was that? Is this how paying customers are treated over onions? There is no sign up saying there is a limit to the vegetables that goes on a sandwich. It would be understood if I wanted more meat there would be an upcharge, but onions????? How many onions do they think I can eat that would require an upcharge. I will not be returning to the store in the Oxford, NC location and I will be writing a review about my experience today (11/4/2025) and it will not be favorable. I have given this locations three to four chances already and today’s experience was it for me. I would appreciate some correspondence regarding this complaint.

This is a complaint I filed with Jersey & Mike, but have not rec’d a response or an apology from anyone regarding the unprofessionalism and lack of simply good customer service at the Oxford location. I continue to visit the Henderson, NC location at the present time. I didn’t want to give a star period, but I had to give at least one star to post this unfavorable review 🙁

I NEVER write reviews, but the service I received today really rubbed me the wrong way!! I entered the establishment with my SERVICE DOG and was told no pets unless they are service animals, I told them he is a service animal I have his papers to prove that. Little miss with messed up teeth turned around and said he’s definitely not a service animal. I was thrown back because I just told them he is! The RUDE manager asked me to take him outside and I politely said no ma’am. They refused to service me because they thought my dog wasn’t a service animal!!!
These employees do not represent JM properly. I worked with the GM at the Durham location ( N Durham) please reevaluate your employees!! They are driving away paying customers!!

I gave this place another try after having a bad experience the last time. They are new so I wanted to give them a fair chance. The ingredients are fresh and the restaurant is clean. However the sandwich making skills are as poor as I have ever seen. Its like kindergarteners trying to make sandwiches. They are sloppy and fall apart making it miserable to eat. They need better training before I can go back in there.

The food is always good. The service is always great. Love how friendly the staff is. Ordering online is so easy. I love getting points with every purchase so I get a free giant when they add up. Which is awesome cuz I always get it for my mom. She loves it but it’s just too expensive.

It has a 3.3 rating. About right. I’ve been coming in basically once a week since they opened and it has been steadily getting worse. I ordered online, which has a 15 min wait to pick up. I show up and wait another ten minutes. Sandwich not cut all the way, light on ingredients, oil and vinegar spilled in the bag. Can you believe I tipped on the app!? So that’s the last time I spend money here.
Edit: I’ve been going back cuz when the sandwich is good it’s freaking good! I’ve been getting a steak Philly to go cuz it travels better. Nothing but love Jersey mikes, keep doing your best. Sorry I got fired up that day.

People can’t even let you use the bathroom had to pay before using the bathroom. $2 chips and could’ve got that small bag at dollar tree.

MY FOOD IS FANTASTIC EVERY TIME!
I have ordered from here through third party apps and in person. I picked up a order tonight. The store is clean, and the staff seems friendly and competent, and most importantly the food has consistently been top notch and delicious. Solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
(Whoever can put the Oxford store on the Jersey Mike’s app should do so, I would love to order directly instead of using DD, even for my pickup orders. )

All around great service and my kids absolutely loved the people here. They never ate jersey Mike’s before and they absolutely loved the food! They are non stop on how nice the staff were and how they made them feel special! Not from here but anytime im in the area I will be back. Shout out to AJ, shama, ann, and John. You guys rock!!

Hit the place just right tonight. 8pm, & not a soul in the joint. Employees were cleaning certain things (mopping the floor, windexing the glass, wiping down the slicer, & the grill was SPOTLESS) but they ALL stopped & promptly greeted me, almost in unisen, lol.
I ordered a mini #8 (it’s the club). Had them heat the meat… turkey, ham, bacon… & the cheese, on the grilll, & grilled the onions for me as well. Asked to leave the sub roll as is, no toasting. Added lettuce, oil n vinegar, salt n pepper, & a touch of oregano….
5 STARS ALL THE MIKES WAY AROUND. One of THE BEST DAMN SUBS that crew has EVER made me. Thanks guys, & short girl!! See y’all next time!! ❤️

So I am going vegetarian for a week and decided to get a portobello mushroom sub from Jersey Mike’s. I just moved to Oxford from Fayetteville where I would normally get my jersey Mike’s subs. The Oxford location is new very clean, it has very friendly workers. I ordered my lunch online and I paid for extra portobello, mushrooms, and extra cheese. However, when I receive my sub, it was nothing like I was accustomed to getting when I lived in Fayetteville. I’m not sure what their version of extra mushrooms and extra cheese is in Oxford but I surely feel like I did not get my moneys worth Jersey Mike’s is one of my favorite sub places However I would truly like to get my moneys worth for what I paid for.
