Reviews
The roast beef bowl was missing tomatoes and pickles, and the turkey sandwich was overloaded with lettuce and poorly made. It felt rushed and careless. I’ve been a loyal customer, but this experience left me dissatisfied and questioning whether I’ll return to this location.
They also clearly have an “A” team that works during the day and a “B” team that works the evening shift. This is portrayed by the quality of the sandwich as I have always been satisfied when unwrapping the sandwhich during lunch hours but during dinner hours its looks like they threw all of the ingredients inside the wrapper and balled it up.
After going there last night at 7:25 to see they close 1.5 hours early…. again, I drove to the Florham Park Jersey Mike’s. They were actually open for business, extremely friendly, and confirmed my suspicion with the Chatham location who coincidently is owned by a different owner. The guys at the Florham Park location even said “if you walk in at 8:59pm we got you”. Says a lot as they close at 9 and are still willing to help their customers.
I will never order anything from the Chatham location and will gladly drive the extra 5 mins to the Florham Park location with owners and workers who care and take pride in their service.
This situation raises several concerns. Firstly, if the store was no longer able to provide its signature product, it would have been appropriate to lock the doors and cease operations for the evening. By allowing customers to enter and then informing them that the bread was unavailable, the staff created unnecessary inconvenience and frustration.
Secondly, the unprofessional manner in which the staff communicated this information was unacceptable. Shouting “nooooo!” upon my arrival was not only startling but also demonstrated a lack of respect for both myself and other potential customers.
As a result of this experience, I am compelled to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment. Not only did this incident waste my time after a long day of work, but it also resulted in the loss of my patronage and that of my partner.
I hope that this feedback will be taken into consideration to ensure that similar situations do not occur in the future, thereby preserving the reputation and customer satisfaction of Jersey Mike’s.
