I ordered a half Boss Submarine Sandwich, and as I was walking out of the establishment I saw an on duty Jersey Giant employee exiting the restaurant next door with a food order. I said to myself, if the Jersey Giant Employees don’t eat where they work, is their food safe to eat? Well, my submarine sandwich was delicious!! I will be returning to order another. No complaints only compliments. Jersey Giant Submarine Employees should eat the products they sell. The owner replied to the above review, saying his staff eat Jersey Giant Submarine Sandwich’s. Then, why was an on duty employee purchasing food from the restaurant next door.

Read the reviews complaining about the bread but decided to give it a try. Jersey mikes was my original choice. Well the bread is horrible. It completely destroyed the sandwich. I honestly just took everything off and used my own bread as crazy as that sounds but thats how bad it was. Its old its stale its like eating paper. They really need to rethink their bread supplier since they dont have their own. Jersey mikes knocks them out of the park. For now im convinced they have the superior sandwiches and they are in the same spot. If they get really good fresh bread they could be up there with the best. But for now its like gas station subs. I still cant stop hating my self for not going to jersey mikes but better to try out different stuff and find out the hard way. Hit or miss i guess. Be warned. By the way half of the sandwich i threw out because it had hair in it

Finally stopped in recently for a quick lunch! Got the lunch special which was a sub, bag of chips and a fountain pop for $10! The sub was delicious and the staff super helpful! Only upset I waited so long to try them! I did get extra turkey but still came out to about $15 including a tip!

But then the romance ended…
Much like the sub run from the second visit.
I I wept tears of mayonnaise on my second visit it was really disappointing…
The latest tasted old and the meat was no longer piled high.
This felt like a sloppy depression era sub… Mick like subway…
Sounds good but doesn’t always taste good.
Don’t worry though the third time will be a charm. We hope.
The romance is back on and we are feeling frisky for a sub.
Dear reader – please get your mind out of the gutter. I’m talking about food.

I had it for the first time today, ordering the Jersey Devil, and I was not disappointed. I ordered the half size, but the sub was still massive, loaded with toppings and delicious. It was a first time and not a last time. It’s worth a try!

Upkeep of the facility was lacking some was my initial impression. The staff was friendly and offered some recommendations for new customers. They do store their bread in clear trashbags, which was not the best presentation. The subs are surprisingly large so don’t let the price be a shock. I believe the prices to be fair for the amount of food you recieve. It did seem to have a steady flow of customers ordering while I dinned in. The food was good but, it isn’t my typical “go to” sub styles or toppings I prefer.
