A cozy restaurant that has been around for years in Wrightsville Beach. The dining room was very busy and vibrant. A lot of regulars and big groups. It is not a quiet romantic place, if that is what you are looking for.
The tuna tartare was amazing, full of tuna, vegetables and served with crispy wonton chips that added a little salt. The sauce was a little sweet and salty Asian flavor. My duck breast was seared nicely on the skin but a little chewy to eat. It was served with crispy gnocchi, kale and a sweet/tart pomegranate sauce. Unfortunately, it was just warm as well.
I had entree envy with my husband’s dish of seared scallops over parmesan risotto with spinach and tomatoes. The scallops were sweet and juicy. The risotto had the perfect seasoning level and was piping hot, even still hot halfway through the dish. I really like hot food.
We ended with a cherry vanilla creme brulee. It had a thick crispy top and full of large cherries on the bottom. It was softer than I expected. Not a custard type filling but looser. The flavor was still wonderful.
This restaurant is definitely worth a stop on special occasion.

So glad we checked this place out after my daughter & her boyfriend talked about it! Everything was absolute perfection! We will definitely be back. Kudos to Elise & the rest of the staff, who were all amazing!
We had the corn bisque, rack of lamb, duck & key lime pie. But no doubt regardless of what we chose, I’m sure it would have been fabulous!

I bit hard to find in a strip center beside a domino’s pizza place. But
the food was outstanding. Creative menu and execution was spot on. One of my new favorites in the Wilmington / Wrightsville Beach areas.

What a delightful find! We had a late reservation and then arrived late because the bridge was up. No problem for these guys as they treated us like guests. Food was fabulous. They didn’t have the wine I first chose, but they came back with a recommendation that was actually similar and in the same price range. Felt like they knew what they were doing! And I appreciated it. This one goes on the list.

What a wonderful find . I can’t remember seeing chateaubriand on a menu. It was fork tender and everyone in our party had it. The lump crab appetizer was delicious but decedent. We did save room for dessert and all were amazing.

This was a wonderful experience. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. The portions were tremendous. Enough to feed 3 people (if you chose to do so). Sure wish they had a sampler platter of their entrees. Would have liked to try it all. Food so fresh and local. Must place to go to.

The attention to detail with every element of the dining experience at Jerry’s is more than 5 stars! The food is always amazing, the wait staff is pleasant and properly trained and the atmosphere is old school classic with a warm and cozy feel.
I highly recommend anyone to visit and experience Jerry’s, especially if you want more than the average and the ordinary!

Absolutely the best meal we have had in years!! Don’t be fooled by the nondescript location. First time here ( had heard great things, but never got here….until now) and it is BY FAR the best restaurant for EXCEPTIONAL food! The Chef is a genius. The blend of flavors, combinations, fresh!! everything, delightful offerings to appeal to everyone. Service is SUPERIOR. (Clara is a doll!) Really strong wine list. (by the glass less glamorous choices, but wide variety) We had the lump crab app. (photo) and I was tempted to lick the bowl. Had fresh crispy flounder over collards & hoppin john…and my husband had seared scallops with risotto, asparagus, lemon cream. This meal blew our minds. We will be regulars at Jerry’s!!!

It’s hard to believe we haven’t been to this place. We’ve been in the area a couple of years and tried many restaurants but had not visited what is now our favorite. We had friends telling us how good it was and now we know. Someone had posted that the shrimp cocktail was the best they ever had and I would have to agree. we also had the crab appetizer and it was wonderful. For dinner at our table we had the awesome filet, the grouper dish that was so nice, and I had the horse radish tuna. All were amazing. Lindsay took care of us and she made our dinner so special. I promise we will be back soon. This place has moved up to our number 1 spot in Wilmington.
