I ate here yesterday and had a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the curry chicken and oxtail, and the owner was kind enough to let us sample some of his jerk chicken as well. Everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly.
The service was excellent, the prices were very reasonable, and the portion sizes were great. The owner was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
Honestly, this is one of the best Jamaican food spots I’ve eaten at. If I lived closer, this would definitely be in my regular dinner rotation. Food tasted great the owner was very respectful and allowed me and my grandfather to sample multiple dishes which all tasted great! The jerk chicken was unmatched the sauce had the perfect blend of seasoning and spice and the portions were satisfying. This was my first time visiting florida and i love jamaican food and Im glad this establishment did not let me down even face us a couple if free homeade drinks that were great! Hands down 10 of 10 would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys jamaican food

Been driving by this place for over a month… but it was calling my name. I like the unexpected & I know the best food comes from the place you least expect! The jerk shack didn’t disappoint- jose greeted as soon as we entered. Menu is very limited but he suggested the jerk chicken & we agreed to what he offered. Within a short amount of time my friends & I received 3 lunch specials of jerk chicken with rice & peas plus a warmed slaw (peas, cabbage, & onions) I asked for brown gravy for my rice & peas & it was so yummy!!! Everything was so good we ordered an extra jerk chicken to go for other friends back at the office. Super affordable , quick service, & amazingly fresh hot Jamaican food!! Definitely will be back!!!!

Food is FANTASTIC!!! The owners Jose and Dwight are so kind and friendly and Alyssa, Dwight’s daughter, is the cashier and very sweet. They told us about the way they cook their food – all fresh – and the chicken we had was so moist!!! Highly recommend this place.

The brown gravy chicken stew was delicious and the meat was moist and not overcooked. Generous portions and fantastic lunch special pricing. Owner was super friendly offering us samples of the other delicious menu items and talking to us about diving and his time in the Cayman islands. We’ll be back to try the jerk chicken (he ran out and was cooking more but we couldn’t wait) and oxtail.

The husband/ wife duo are so nice and friendly and welcoming! They made me feel like family. The food was hands down, the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had! I had some curry goat and jerk chicken and I can’t even describe how good it was! The cabbage was sweet and savory the rice and peas with the gravy was superb! I will be back and can’t recommend enough.

While on vacation I went here to get Gungo Soup. It was some of the best I’ve ever had. I ended up getting some to take home to freeze. The owner prep it well for my travel home and to be stored. Had the Mac & Cheese hands down the best!!! He even called me a couple of days later to check how was my food. I will recommend this place and when ever I’m in West Plam I’m there!

This must be the best jerk chicken and pork ever made! Smokey, spicy flavorful, jucy goodness in every bite. The sides are delicious too. Portions are mighty so there’s a ton of jerk even in a small. My only disappointment was I couldn’t finish my meal because I’d over-eaten somewhere else earlier in the day. Will be back before I leave to try even more!
