Our first time Eating here. The Food we ordered was awful. We ordered the sampler appetizer and the pickles were burnt. Me and my husband both got An entree he got the Bangers and Mash and I got the shepherds pie . The shepherds pie tasted like it had Marinara sauce. The mashed potatoes were instant. My husband got the bangers and my ash. The mashed potatoes were so runny, he couldn’t even finish it. Our total ended up being around $85. I felt like we were robbed for the price that we paid. I will say that our waitress was very attentive she Checked on us several times. The atmosphere was great. The food was just very lackluster.

Great time here at the Irish pub! We aren’t from Ashland, but it was worth the drive! They have pool tables, darts, nice staff, and awesome food! My husband loved the architecture of the building, and thought the ceilings were super neat! Recommend coming and checking this pub out!

An okay spot for lunch. They have a $10 lunch menu that’s nice and the food wasn’t bad. Service was kinda meh for there to be no real crowd. I guess if you’re coming in for drinks it could be fun. Looked like they had a pretty good setup for later in the day activities.

My family enjoy this place, clean environment and good people. I shoot pool with my son (16) often and it has great tables and a super good vibe. Joe and Travis are a cut above the rest when it comes to service! Can’t talk about the nightlife of the place but during the day and afternoon it’s the place to be.

So we came for my husbands’s birthday. The service was wonderful, everyone is incredibly friendly. When it came time to order food I will say this. The soup was amazing. Unfortunately the fish and chips was inedible. I don’t want to place blame. I understand it’s sometimes difficult to acquire fresh fish and to hand batter said fish. Having said that if it were my restaurant I would take fish and chips off the menu if I was unable to produce a pub staple. I’ll say this. Order the Celtic knot, the bangers and mash and the Boston cream pie, and you’ll be more than satisfied.

It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Simple questions were met with attitude, and there was no warmth or hospitality at all.
On top of that, the food was completely inconsistent. One visit it’s decent, the next it’s overcooked, cold, or clearly rushed. When you’re paying pub prices, you expect at least basic consistency. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case.
An Irish pub should feel welcoming and lively — this felt tense and unprofessional. I won’t be returning.

Went for an early Tuesday dinner. Atmosphere was the only decent thing about the place. Our waitress was nice, but I don’t know how they can afford to have 6 employees just standing around when there’s only 7-8 customers.
The sampler platter was definitely frozen food. Only “Irish” food on the menu was bangers and mash (which were terrible), fish and chips, and shepard’s pie. Guinness was flat, bad sign if you’re marketing yourself as an Irish pub. Couldn’t even get a dessert cocktail because they don’t have a blender.
I’ve been to many Irish pubs throughout the U.S. and this is by far the worst.

The drinks and food here were excellent! The appetizer pretzel was amazing and the chicken pub sandwich was great! I went here with a group of 8 people, my waitress took my partner’s order and then took the two in front of me. Before taking my order she tried to leave my partner had to quickly grab her and tell her I needed to order. After that my friends at the opposite table needed to order but their waiter took only 3 of their orders and didn’t get the other. 1 hour later me and my partner got our food and one friend in front of me got his but his partner and the other four people did not. 1 hour after that 3 people got theirs, learned he didn’t even give the one person’s order to the kitchen and we got our checks before my one friend even got hers. 30 minutes later our waitress came back for my money when we got to tell her my one friend still had not received her food. They apologized and gave her fresh food for free but it still was not a good experience.

This place is raging with positivity and excitement, The owners have done a fabulous job at remodeling the old CR Thomas building , the menu is excellent. The service was great for being the second day open. The food was hot, large portions and tasty . We look forward to becoming regulars at this new establishment.
