I recently moved out to PA (not known for their Jamaican food lol). I was in the MD area on a Saturday, and my usual jerk place isn’t open on weekends… I had a craving + coming down from a gnarly cold and needed HEATTTT to clear out my sinuses lol. And I’ll let you what, this place definitely brought the heat with the spicy jerk chicken! Sheesh! And I love spicy. I had to eat this in slow increments cuz it had me SWEATIN! Overall very good quality, hella spicy, decent amount for price, I guess… honestly, was a wee bit pricey. Was disappointed with the Mac and cheese – quality of it was decent, however, for $5+, I expected an actual side of it. We only got a tiny little section of the mac. Not sure if order it again. Not worth the $$. But the jerk, yessss!

I have been searching for authentic Jamaican food since I got back from Jamaica and this by far takes the cake. The atmosphere the seasoning the flavor everything is just absolutely perfect. It makes you feel right back at home I will gladly drive 40 min each way for this amazing food. Big blessings

The customer service was good. The jerk wings: the flats were good, the drumsticks were rubbery. The mac and cheese was burnt brown on the top and hard. The middle was ok. I was provided more that looked better. The French fries and the triple mix drink was good. The atmosphere was ok; loud though due to the music blaring at the same volume as the tv and with the place being small, the music and tv seemed louder than it might seem in a larger place. The booth for seating had at least 3 games at the end of each the table which left no room for if the entire booth was needed. Also the games should be cleaned or dusted as they are sitting on the table where people eat and those boxes are dusty. I gave this a 4 star for the french fries,

Damn, this place is SO good. Got their lunch special jerk chicken and the beef patty. Excellent flavors all around with the beef patty being flaky and a slight hint of heat with the jerk chicken being sweet, salty, and hot (got the good scotch bonnet peppers in it!), and the price was decent. The owners are very friendly, the ambiance is relaxed and casual, and the food is bussin. 10/10 would recommend!

This quaint space is a little small in size, but big in flavor. I was welcomed amicably by the staff and I tried the curry chicken which was amazing. I love that the potatoes were the right size and texture. The curry chicken was seasoned really well. I also loved the oxtails—had a slight sweetness to it and were very tender. I also tried the brown stew chicken and loved it! Didn’t get to try the jerk chicken but I will soon.

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was incredible. I got chicken curry, with rice and beans. The food was very authentic, and reminded me of being back in the islands, aka HOME. The staff were extremely nice, making the whole meal even more enjoyable. It’s clear why this place is very popular. Overall, it’s absolutely worth going to, and I’ll definitely be returning soon.
