Outdoor balcony overlooking a tree with sunset in the background. The service ya hair back but efficient. Food was flavorful and more spice than anywhere else we ate in Costa Rica. Spring Rolls were tasty with a slice of avocado adding extra flavor. If you go you gotta like cats. They are everywhere. The first part of the menu says they don’t take credit cards but they do just their bank so they don’t take American Express. Recommend.

Hidden gem of a restaurant in Jaco. Food was insanely flavorful and cooked to perfection. The second floor open air patio was also amazing. Service was incredible, friendly, and accommodating, even when we showed up with a larger party than expected. Great spot overall and will be back if I ever find myself in Jaco again

I really like this hidden restaurant in Jaco. My favorite is the yellow curry, a well-balanced dish full of fresh veggies and a delicious broth.
This time, the noodle lacked a little bit of flavor. I love pad see ew when you can taste the wok flavor and the sauce is rich, but that wasn’t the case here.
The service is excellent, but cats are roaming around on the tables (which may not be very sanitary).
Overall, a great spot with tons of vegetarian options!

Ask for Patrick and enjoy him and this place and the food. Cats are about the place but none we encountered were annoying, they just added to the uniqueness. Pad thai and Pad se yu (however you spell it) were sampled by a couple of us, your choice of protein, all dishes are gluten free so the kitchen is gluten free. My pork was a bit dry but the catch of the day shrimp was great. Try the herbal teas, any or all of them. Come hungry or expect to need to take home some of these large portions. Don’t leave without getting some dessert. Crème Brûlée plate is over the top good, just skip the cookie. The cheese cake plate, same thing, really good.

How lucky to have found Jerah. A second floor sanctuary here. Open air, lovely breeze. Bring cash. VAT+tip included in menu prices.
I ordered the fresh veggie spring rolls + chicken skewers. I’ve never met a peanut sauce I didn’t like and somehow Jerah’s was fresher than all of them. Really incredible.
If you look closely, you’ll see the cats stalking and lounging. They won’t bother you but they’re friendly.

This is the best meal we’ve had over our 10 days in Costa Rica. We had the yellow curry (only of the four curries suitable for vegetarians/vegans) and pad Thai, both with tofu and both were excellent. Even though the portions were filling, we decided to indulge in the dessert sampler and everything was delicious (though our favorite was the coconut crème brûlée). It was on the pricey side, but honestly it seems like it’s in line with how expensive things are more generally, plus the quality and quantity of the food was worth it. The folks who work here are super friendly, the food came out mere minutes after we placed our orders, and the atmosphere was laid back and lovely. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice meal!
