This was an awesome local culinary experience. I came for a friend’s book signing. I was greeted by my server, Robin, who was amazing! She explained to me in detail each food item asked about. That speaks volumes of managerial staff. I ordered the catfish sandwich with fries, and it did not disappoint. They have chicken wings, salmon bites, potato salad, mac & cheese, and many other entrees/sides. Apparently, Monday nights are for karaoke, and they have an awesome Sunday brunch. Whether local or visiting, be sure to check out this hidden gem in Downtown Orlando area.

The customer service is wonderful. Jenny is very sweet. Food took awhile , which is fine it was hot and fresh and correct. I would return and plan to my next time in the area.
I would have preferred chicken wings or tenders over chicken cutlets/breast or whatever it was but it was seasoned well. The potatoe salad , mac and cheese, collard greens mac cheese balls, and sweet potatoes muffins were great. I love the detail in the topped raffles. Very appealing. I love that the menu has something for just about every one from quick eats like salads and burgers to soul food. For the area if the decor was a little more modern I think it would really take the place to another level. The food and service is worth trying!

Last night was my first time there and I will be back for karaoke on Wednesday nights. So much fun!! The dj was amazing and the music was popping!!! The food was delicious. Before we could walk in we were checked on outside by a couple of servers while we were waiting for friends to come. The service was fantastic and they were all very kind.

Our waitress Robin was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and the other waitress we interacted with was just as attentive and kind. The service here is truly top-notch.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and well worth the price. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and we left completely satisfied.
A special mention goes to Mike, the owner, who was wonderful to speak with. It’s clear he genuinely cares about his customers and creating an experience that keeps people coming back.

The golden fried catfish was fresh, crispy, and seasoned perfectly–some of the best l’ve ever had.
I also ordered the signature Jenny’s Wings… and I couldn’t even wait to get home. They were so good I ended up eating them in the car!
You can tell everything here is made with care and heart–not just great food, but a real spirit of excellence and hospitality.
It was inspiring to meet the owner and hear about the faith and purpose behind this place.

TL/DR: Get in your car now, drive to Jenny’s Downtown now, order, and enjoy the amazing food. Ask for Gabby to serve your table and talk to Ms. Jenny. She is so sweet and down to earth. You can tell that all of the food is straight from her heart. It’ll bring a tear to your eye!

Started with Jenny’s Chicken Chunks Loaded Wedges. Buffalo sauce and ranch dressing top the most melt in your mouth fried chicken bites and savory potato bites. An excellent way to start your meal.
Tender Loving Ribs with collard greens and potato salad. Hands down, the absolute best collard greens anywhere! The ribs are cooked to a tender, fall off the bone finish, brushed in a mouth watering Motown BBQ sauce. Every bite is better than the last. Let me tell you something, I don’t eat potato salad. Save the cornbread for last! It’s the best.
Fried Catfish Sandwich on Texas Toast. The toast is excellent and it tastes like Ms. Jenny lovingly raised that catfish herself. So tender, so tasty.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!! The folks who run this amazing little spot are just good humans. And the food is slammin’! Jenny and Foxy took such great care of me even though I wandered up just before closing time. Told me to stay as long as I liked and served up some AMAZING chicken and waffles (though I now hear tell that I should have gotten the strawberry ones and they are even better – next time! Run, don’t walk, to take in this gem in the heart of Orlando!

Jenny’s food is delicious. Seasoned well and not salty. This Sunday we did her Sunday brunch and it was excellent. I can’t stop talking about the smothered turkey wings. Everything was so good. A very nice selection of food and the servers were professional and efficient. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
