I tried the brisket/rib combo with the Mac and cheese and bbq beans. Food was very generic, Mac and cheese had the same consistency of that which is served at all you can eat buffets. Bbq beans were from a can. Brisket was dry, I love the smoke flavor but very dry. Same with ribs they looked like they were smoked this morning and served to me at 330 this afternoon. Great taste but very dark and dry.

First time ordering from this place and let me just say, there will be more! As someone originally from Kentucky, the environment reminds me heavily of home.
The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is priced fairly with good portions. Me and my roomie ordered the 1 meat plate, it came with two sides and it all came out to less than $50 (would be less of we didn’t grab two drinks each lol)
Food was ready quick and tasted great! Defo a spot I’d visit again! The only thing I’d improve is maybe a sign so folks know about the restaurant. (Same goes for the healthy spot next door lol)

All 4 burgers were “hockey pucks” without any seasoning of any type. Not even salt and pepper. Also quite small. I have pretty tiny hands. Atmosphere is a 2 as it appears the ceiling is being redone? It’s unfinished plywood. Go anywhere else for your burgers.

I ordered their Mozzy Burger with a side of Mac & Cheese. The burger had almost no flavor outside of the marinara on it and the cheap smoky flavoring on the beef patty. The beef patty itself was also really unappealing, looking like a hockey puck. For the kind of crazy burgers they seem to want to do, I think they should be going for more of a smash burger, but that’s just me. The Mac & Cheese was just awful, no flavor and had a very cheap cheese aftertaste. I’ve gone here a couple times in the past and enjoyed it then, so it’s really disappointing that the quality seems to be on the decline.

This was the most disgusting food I ever ate and I’m not exaggerating. The pulled pork smelled like fresh dog poop and was inedible, the smell was so disgusting i can’t believe they would serve something so repulsive. The brisket was so dry and had a nasty texture to it. The mashed potatoes felt like they were cooked with grease that was re-used at least 5 times. My stomach feels weird right now, I will probably get food poisoning from this terrible place. I ended up throwing out 75% of my food, I regret not asking for my money back. A frozen dinner is 100 times better than this place. I dont understand how it is rated so highly, it should be closed down, stay away at all cost.

I have never posted a bad review on any restaurant before, but tonite in Ellenburg the pulled pork on my plate smelled bad and tasted spoiled. We could not finish our meals and had to leave because my husband was so nauseated by the smell. When I told the waitress, she said other diners had complained about the pork as well, but it “would not make you sick.” They did exchange the pork for beef but we could not eat it and they did not offer a discount. We won’t be back.

Someone describe the pulled pork as funky tasting. Well I think I identified the mystery funk taste. Dog poop. From the moment I tasted that pork. It tasted really off. If you were to ask me to smell my dogs fresh poop and this pork. I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
The brisket was also gross. It was incredibly dry. And the ribs were flavourless. No amount of sauce could make this taste good. Bbq food should be able to shine on its own.
My sides were also disappointing. The Mac n cheese had no flavour, kraft dinner is some how better.

I went to target to digest what I just ate. And it’s not sitting right, Im feeling sick. Wet dog food looked more appetizing than what I just ate.
Do yourself a favour. And go to chick fil-A.

Okay quick stop for lunch. Brisket was a bit lack-luster but some of the best fries I have had in quite a while. Nice choice of sweet, spicy, and original sauces. Good alternative to all of the big chain fast food in the area.
