We stopped here for a quick sit-down meal while passing through the Atlanta airport. The service itself was ok, the server was polite but asked if we wanted to order as soon as we sat. We only ordered water and two main meals, so we expected the bill to be around $41.
When the check came, the total was $52.50. The payment screen then immediately prompted me to add an additional 3%, 5%, or 10% tip. When I questioned why the bill was so high, I was told a 25% gratuity had already been added.
A 25% gratuity is extremely high, especially for a quick 10-minute meal in an airport. The food itself was disappointing — the burger was dried out and didn’t taste very good. What’s most frustrating is that there were no visible signs or disclosures anywhere stating that a gratuity would automatically be added, let alone at that rate.
This felt dishonest and left a bad impression. Transparency matters, especially in an airport where travelers are often in a rush. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to eat here again.
I wonder if manager or owners know this takes place??

My wife and I each had two beers. Each pour was very light, like even south of an international bierhaus pour. Fine. But when it came time to pay the bill, they brought out the automated payment system which had a price which was quite high, expecting me to simply tap and then add a tip. After I went through the tipping selections, I stopped the process and asked for an itemization. Apparently they already added an automated 18% “auto-tip,” which they don’t tell you about when they present you the final price to simply tap your credit card, over which they then ask for your voluntary tip. Essentially, they don’t offer you an itemization, add the tip, don’t tell you, and then ask for an additional tip. I would say a far majority of people don’t know they’re paying upwards of a 40% tip. They deceive their customers. Watch out.

Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant at ATL is a fantastic spot to grab a bite! I tried the steak Philly sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious – packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and loaded with toppings. The service was quick and friendly, making it an excellent choice for a great meal while traveling. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re passing through the airport

Stopped at Atlanta Airport for a connecting flight and had a few hours so grabbed a bite here. Was a little sticker shocked that a glass of proseco, bottle of water and cocktail shrimp was 50.00 canadian… LET ME TELL YOU! The shrimp were HUGE, flavorful and juicy! The proseco was crisp and they don’t skimp on the pour! Definitely worth the money.. Will be back thank you!

Got the lobster bisque + shrimp add on. The shrimp was good, quite flavorful, well cooked, and tasted fresh. The bisque was not very good. Kinda bland, no real flavor. Had to add saltines in to make it palatable. Everything was served on paper plates and cups too, definitely not ideal for the price. The service was relatively quick and the servers are nice. I will say, that the online payment system automatically adsa an 18% gratuity, and then automatically selects an 20% tip on top of that, which feels quite ridiculous. Overall, not a great experience, but if u are craving shrimp at an airport, this place works.

Great atmosphere! Nice music. Friendly staff. We only had mixed drinks, but very reasonably priced for the airport. The two beautiful ladies here (Tuesday night) were extremely friendly and helpful. You can browse their menu online and order that way as well. Can’t comment on the food, but would stop by again.
