If I could give this 10 stars, I would!!

We were visiting from put of state and tried this historic-train-car- turned-diner. Everyone is SO friendly! Generous serving sizes of scrumptious food! My husband filled up on the Jr. Wimpy burger. It did not disappoint! I had the French toast made from homemade bread and, oh MY, I am ruined forever for any other restaurants serving French toast. In my 56 years of living, it is the BEST French toast I’ve ever had. Also tried Anita’s made-from-scratch grape pie. Yes, grape..It’s now my favorite pie. If it’s on the menu, it’s a MUST try. Lord-willin’ an’ the creek don’t rise, we will be back!

Awesome little diner! We had the meatloaf dinner and a tuna melt. The melt came with Swiss cheese, which i normally wouldn’t choose, but it was very good. Plenty of food and excellent service. The coffee was really good too! Hope to stop by again some time!

Friendly service, the food was very good, the restaurant was your classic style diner ️ that have always enjoyed going since I was kid . I had the turkey club sandwich it was delicious with fries. We will definitely return. The prices were average I would say. The main entrance is right there by the Street easy access.

Our meals were delicious! Super friendly employees. My only complaint is the carrot cake we ordered to go was very dry and was a spice cake with cream cheese frosting, not a carrot cake.

We we’re staying near by and seen this diner driving in so decided to try it out the following day! Great little place, definitely nostalgic , we loved it! Seemed like mostly locals who knew each other but felt right at home because the Waitresses were so nice! Food was Fantastic and so was the Coffee!! If we’re ever back in this area definitely stopping here!

We stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday around 1PM. The places was pretty full! They have about 4 small booths, 6 or so tables, and a bar that seats about 8. We found a place at the bar. The establishment is small but comfortable and clean! The Prices are great. We had 2 meals for $20. We had the Yuengling beer battered fish with homemade green beans(with butter on them) ,homemade mashed potato’s, brown gravy, and home made chunky apple sauce! Delicious! And the tuna melt sandwich was delicious but the best part were the seasoned French fries. It was awesome to have actual home made food! You could tell it hadn’t been frozen, thawed out, warmed and served to us. And they still kept the prices affordable!

We will definitely go back! The service and wait staff is not the warmest and friendliest…but they get the job done and kept our glasses full while we chowed down!

This place is amazing!! The food is delicious and so much food! The staff is friendly and “on it”. Our drink was never empty. They did not rush you at all, but when people left the tables were cleared and sanitized immediately! The young man who greeted was quick to get menus and drinks. Such a wonderful experience we went back both days we were in Area. Loved it ! Try it out, you wont be disappointed!!

Rueben was perfection, all you can eat gluten free fish fry was delicious, and very accommodating for our kids. They also loved their kids spaghetti. Service was so fast and friendly. This place is a gem.

The food at Jefferson Diner is fine, but the hours completely ruin it. Breakfast only until noon and being closed on Mondays makes no sense for a place that calls itself a diner. Diners are known for all-day breakfast, that’s kind of the whole point. What makes it worse is they’ll still make sandwiches with eggs later in the day, so clearly eggs aren’t the issue. The inconsistent hours just feel lazy and out of touch, especially when people go to diners specifically for breakfast at any time.

On top of that, this town has lost three main food spots in the past year. You’d think a local business would try to accommodate people, not make it harder to eat there. Good food doesn’t matter much when people can’t eat it when they actually want to.
