Really enjoyed our dinner here! I would have given 5 stars but there’s a little bit of room for improvement! Service was great. Love the atmosphere and Christmas vibes! With the restaurant just opening, the kinks need to be sorted so here’s my advice!
-The fried green tomatoes were to die for! The temperature of the food could have been warmer. They weren’t “cold”, but not warm either. A little less pimento cheese and more bacon jam! Even with those comments, they were still a hit!
-The chicken and waffles were good, but the menu advertised some sort of whipped butter that I didn’t receive. Also, the temperature again wasn’t very warm. They were still very yummy, but definitely would have been better hot!! Also needed a little more syrup to go with these!

Food was AMAZING! Such a good vibe, staff, and look to the restaurant. The Prime Rib Cheesesteak was really good. Meat was tender, flavorful, and the bread was perfectly toasted. I tried the Mac n cheese, as well as the mashed potatoes and collard greens. All delicious! Highly recommend this for a cool restaurant vibe with great food.

Great atmosphere with a fun, energetic vibe. The space was lively without feeling chaotic, and the staff was attentive and welcoming. Drinks were well-made, music was on point, and the crowd felt upbeat and social. Definitely a solid spot for a night out or a late dinner that turns into a good time. I’d happily come back.

Stopped in for my lunch break and had the best pimento and bacon burger of my whole life (JDs on main burger, added arugula, pickles, and onion). Sorry but I literally inhaled it in 10 seconds. By the time I took a picture I had one bite left. Phone DID NOT eat first. I’m still thinking of her and I finished it 30 minutes ago. WILL be back. Loved the staff and atmosphere.

Let me start off with saying the service here was phenomenal! Super kind and relatable staff!
We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes, JD on Main Burger with Duck Fat fries, and the Brisket Burnt ends with Mac and cheese and BBQ brussel sprouts.
Fried Green Tomatoes were plated very aesthetically and had great flavor. Personally, the pimento cheese was overwhelming and made the fried green tomatoes soggy.
The burger was fantastic and would highly recommend! The brisket burnt ends were extraordinarily dry and unfortunately would not recommend. The sides were amazing though! Just be prepared to bring your own chain saw for the brisket ends.

I found this restaurant was fantastic and almost every way.TheWaitress we had checked on us often. I had the burnt ends and they were great!! That they have a sweet barbecue sauce on them. I I love good burnt ends and these were definitely good. My wife had the shrimp and grits which were very good as I was told.

The food here is amazing and so delicious! I loved every second of being here and our server was amazing. The atmosphere is so great and I would recommend this place to everyone! Thank you JDs for a great experience and we will be coming back!

I hate to leave a review like this after knowing Chip basically my whole life…. I’ve been going to JD’s since the bells ferry location next to Kellogg. I’ve gone to the acworth, on the lake, location across from Walmart, all numerous times, and they’ve progressively gotten rougher but JDs on main is terrible. The food is beyond overpriced for what it is. There’s no bbq on the menu, and even if they were trying to pull away from doing bbq, the burger my girlfriend ordered was undercooked. Her mom’s wings were burnt. My fish was minimal for a 30 dollar meal. It’s just terrible. The burger is advertised as half a pound and I promise you Wendy’s served a bigger burger. It has seriously been the biggest disappointment. I hope they do something to turn this around or Woodstock will have yet again, another overpriced shitty restaurant. Attached is a picture of what 17 dollars can buy you, undercooked.
