Driving south out of Monroe we stopped here at this little diner for lunch.
The usual dining area was closed for renovations so we were seated in the temporary area that was a bit sparse.
I ordered a hamburger while the wife ordered chicken fried steak. In no time the meal was out and very nice.
And a rarity: they had Coke Zero.
It was a nice dining experience.

My husband and I had been out for an adventure. It is what we call our dates. Decided on a scenic route back home, found this little gem of a place. We went to the walk-up window to order, and she offered to unlock the main door so that we could dine in instead. We were overjoyed at the offer. The service was above amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, the prices were great. The quality of the food was on point, as well as quantity. 10/10 cleanliness, 10/10 service, 10/10 food quality, 10/10 prices. We highly recommend this place!! Please go see them and enjoy the incredible food.

You remember way back when you were younger and burger stands made burgers on the spot with real meat and not that processed meat already made? The one where you could get a shake with your meal and it made the hot summer days just a bit better. And remember how everyone in the small town was friendly to everyone whether they were passing thru or lived there and seen everyone daily? This is that burger joint. It gives you all the feels of a past time gone by that was much more enjoyable. I do miss their snow cones and the brisket poboys though.
