Came to Joseph to grab a burger and ended up at JD’s BBQ instead and I’m so glad we did. We had the tenderloin and it was moist and delicious with a bit of a kick. Great food, great price and great service!

I can’t say enough good things about JD and his awesome business, JD’s BBQ and Catering. Our extended family (20 of us) were in Joseph for Chief Joseph Days and to celebrate the life of my mom, Jan, who died recently and wished to be buried at Prairie Creek Cemetery. We wanted to host a dinner for our big group, but because it was the most popular and busiest week of the summer, no restaurant would take a reservation. Fortunately, when walking through town, we smelled the delicious BBQ aroma coming from JD’s BBQ and we stopped in to check it out. When I saw he catered, we asked if he could accommodate our large group on that Friday-he stepped right up and we were thrilled. He suggested an incredible menu. We chose chicken, ribs, tri-tip, pulled pork, beans, cole slaw, sliced pineapple– and he even agreed to supply cornbread I asked about. (He ended up baking it himself– above and beyond!) Everything was superb. JD even delivered it himself. Our family was impressed and we had enough for two nights. Great Value! We will definitely be back to JD’s when we come to Joseph for Chief Joseph Days next year. A must have next time you’re in Joseph. Thank you, thank you JD!

This is some of the best BBQ, I’ve had in my entire life. Crazy to find this out in Joseph, Oregon of all places. 10/10 would recommend. Had the tri-tip steak bites. Absolutely killer, perfect bbq sauce, not overly sweet. Killer spot.

This is essentially a permanent food cart. There is out door seating with umbrellas for shade. The brisket was just a little dry, but they were running out of everything and getting ready to close up, so I imagine it had been in the warmer a while. Flavor was great! So was the BBQ sauce. My spouse had the pulled pork and it was amazing! Very moist, great flavor, good portion. The baked beans were fine. The pineapple was delicious. I would definitely recommend JD’s BBQ!

We had just come down from backpacking up to Aneroid Lake and were looking for some good food. This was exactly what we wanted, food came out pretty quick, drinks were cold, and the smash burger was exactly what I wanted it to be. 100% would stop here again.
