Great place to stop in for a meal and a chat. The brisket was super tender and the ribs were hearty. I especially liked that the brisket wasn’t full of fat like you’d find at most other smokehouses but still maintained it’s tenderness and flavor. The owner Tod is really friendly.

We got the three meat combo with beans and coleslaw and a pulled pork poutine, plus a soda, total came to around $60. The owner was so kind and welcoming, and our food came out piping hot, which we enjoyed on the picnic tables outside. AMAZING POUTINE!!!! The fries were perfection and I liked that they weren’t drowning in gravy, really let the pulled pork shine! The coleslaw was crunchy and fresh, beans flavourful, and meat tender and delicious. The perfect stop after fun water activities on Lake St Peter. We will absolutely be coming back next time we’re camping in the area again!

Myself and a group of others stopped in from the snowmobile trails yesterday, which are directly connected to the back of the building.
When we walked in, we were greeted by JC himself, who was very friendly, gave us a rundown of the menu, and took our orders. I got the mac and cheese topped with pulled pork and a side order of fries, and our orders came out pretty quickly.
I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size, especially considering the reasonable pricing. (I took the photo after I started eating, so the photo is not representative of the full portion size!) I actually didn’t finish all of my mac and cheese and fries.
Overall, the food was fantastic. The pulled pork was cooked to absolute perfection, and the mac and cheese was delicious. I’d absolutely stop in again.

Stopped in on the sleds. 4 of us . Hands down the best brisket I’ve ever tried. This rivals Muddys charpit . (FOR THOSE WHO KNOW) MAC n cheese was decent.. ribs were good but I shoulda asked for sauce for them. Pulled pork was beautiful. And had se sauce on that. Pit Beans were crazy good. I will stop by here as many times as we can. This a high quality food bbq joint with a friendly owner. I heavily recomend this place.

We came in off the trails on a quiet Thursday afternoon and JC himself greeted us and was super friendly, he gave us the run through of the menu and took our orders. There was six of us and it wasn’t much more than 10 or 15 minutes that it was all ready.
It was delicious and a very reasonable portion, the brisket and beans were great, the pickles were on the sweeter side which I am not a huge fan of but they fit in so well with the plate I ate it all.
I would certainly recommend stopping in if you’re around, especially from the trails it is so close to them.

I was staying in Whitney during a hiking trip to Algonquin and decided to drive there for a dinner once (40 km ish). What a great decision it was!
There was a band of local guys playing live music outside and a handful of their friends supporting them and just enjoying their Saturday with a beer . They were happy and very friendly
The food was great also: assorty of BBQ meat with coleslaw, fresh buns and bourbon beans

I have driven by the sign on the main trail b106e a few times and made a point of stopping by this time and was I ever glad we did. Tried the pulled pork with Mack and cheese side it was excellent. I highly recommend this place it’s worth the stop all the way !

Awesome host and food was great!! We had the brisket poutine, brisket sandwich with fries and large mac and cheese. Owner Todd was very welcoming and super friendly!! Family owned and operated so great to see!! Hope to make it an annual trip, definitely see you again Todd!!

We come from about 4 hours away, and it is worth the drive!! Owner is such a great guy to talk to, and knows his bbq stuff! Food is always so good, and we can’t wait to come back next year!
