The staff was super friendly and welcoming, even though they were busy. Service was quick, the place was clean, and it has that comfortable, classic diner vibe that makes you feel at home even if you’re just traveling through.
Overall, great food, great service, and really fair prices. I’ll definitely look forward to stopping by again next time I’m in the area.
So after waiting over 25 minutes for 4 meals that came to $76 and getting home to see that pretty much not only mine but out of 4 – ONE was what we ordered and made well.
Other than half the burger missing that’s pretty much the amount of fries besides 3-4 missing that it came with, the chicken basket was missing one strip from the 3 piece dinner basket and burnt onion rings that could chip a tooth on the burnt edges it’s so hard- and I really debated even leaving a review but I work hard for the times that I’m able to treat my family out – especially for our 37th & 17th birthday(s) dinner for my son and I feel bad that for almost $80 this is what I got to give him because he wanted JBs- when I could have went to the country club for that price and this didn’t include drinks dessert or anything. I don’t want someone else getting my same experience if they work as much as we do in our home , so most definitely CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE IF YOU ORDER A PICK UP!
My husbands country chicken dinner was decent though.. ♀️ but the kicker is my container melting in the back because the onion rings are so burnt!
Seriously it was a very slow night, there’s no excuse.
Overall, the food was alright, but the atmosphere and customer service could definitely improve.
As an unexpected guest stranded in Price, UT due to an unfortunate breakdown, I found myself in need of a genuine, comforting meal. JB’s delivered not just in quantity, but in quality, surpassing all expectations.
The 6 oz steak, accompanied by tender baby carrots and perfectly fried French fries, was an embodiment of simplicity done right. The salad that came alongside could easily stand on its own as a meal, with fresh greens and a variety of vegetables. As a staunch carrot skeptic, I was pleasantly surprised by how these vegetables were prepared: sweet, tender, and cooked to a level of perfection that made me reconsider my previous disinterest in them. The steak, cooked to an impeccable medium-rare, was rich in flavor, juicy, and well-seasoned—clearly the work of a kitchen that knows how to handle a grill. And the fries? An unassuming highlight, seasoned just so with a batter that gave them a crisp, golden exterior and a fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth interior.
Gary, the less adventurous eater in our group, opted for the BBQ Cheese Burger. His reaction was telling: “to die for,” he said, and I’m inclined to agree based on the sheer satisfaction I saw in his face. The burger was juicy, with the perfect balance of smoky BBQ flavor and rich cheese—a classic done exceptionally well.
However, what truly sets JB’s apart is the level of customer service. As we found ourselves without transportation, our friendly Uber driver, Mrs. Vicki, offered to pick up our order. JB’s went above and beyond by processing the payment over the phone, ensuring that our dining experience was effortless and accommodating from start to finish.
While I didn’t partake in the buffet during this visit, the spread looked promising, and I fully intend to sample it on my next stop through. To top it off, JB’s offers a senior discount starting at age 55, a thoughtful gesture that adds to the overall charm of this establishment.
In a town where dining options can be sparse, JB’s is a shining star. If you’re in Price, this is a must-visit. Exceptional food, thoughtful service, and an overall experience that leaves you eager to return. Highly recommended.
