My wife and I did the wine and ravioli making class and man was it a great time. The ambiance inside is gorgeous and love the taps on the wall with all the wine, beer and other adult beverages. The class itself was very fun and interactive and everyone had a blast and worked together as you are in groups of 6. The woman who led the class was so friendly and nice. Highly recommend the class and this establishment.

I love JBiRD Wine Bar! The huge variety of wines means every visit feels like a new experience. The charcuterie boards are delicious — and I really appreciate that they offer gluten-free options (yay! And they wear gloves to avoided cross contamination). I’ve even ordered their boards to-go to bring to book club, and they’re a hit!
What makes JBiRD so special is how versatile it is. You may be meeting a friend for a drink, grabbing a pre-dinner glass before date night, or creating your own wine tasting from the wall of wines. I like that you can adjust your pour size from a tasting size to a full glass, depending on your mood.
The atmosphere is really great! They have live music at least once per week, sommelier-led tastings, and other creative events. It’s such a special place, and we’re so lucky to have a one-of-a-kind self-serve wine bar like this in Metro Detroit!

We hosted a party for about 50 people, and it was absolutely Incredible. Super easy, to create a mingling atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great place to host a gathering.

A Hidden Gem! Gorgeous Decor and Amazing Self-Serve Wine Experience! (5 Stars)
I stopped in to see what JBird Wine Bar was all about and was genuinely surprised the moment I walked in—it felt like stepping into a beautiful little wine boutique! The space is gorgeously decorated, featuring an impressive wall of wine that lives up to the hype.
The concept here is truly unique and immediately had me in awe: self-serve wines on tap! You get a wristband to scan for a taste or a full glass and a half. This system totally makes the whole experience interactive and fun.
I was immediately welcomed and greeted with a smile from the sweetest, Lisa, who instantly made me feel like an old friend. She provided all the info I needed to navigate the self-serve system and introduced me to their extensive offerings. And yes, it’s not just wine! They also have a delicious margarita, beer, specialty drinks, and, the amazing frozen wine drinks Lisa recommended when she brought out the gorgeous charcuterie board we ordered. Oh my goodness, the charcuterie was absolutely delish!
I loved every bit of this experience. Highly recommend JBird Wine Bar to everyone. I seriously can’t stop telling my friends and family about it and look forward to stopping back in again soon!

Visited on the afternoon of 2/10/24. Loved this place! I was actually very surprised by the choices on tap. I did very little investigating before our visit, but I really only expected wines to be the option. The wine selection is very solid, with multiple reds and whites and blends and most any wine variety you could hope for, but there is also select beer on tap, sangria, champagne, hard cider and even sake. I enjoyed the white charcuterie board as well. Oh, and the option they provide of getting only a taste, or half glass, or full glass is fantastic. It really provides an experience very reminiscent of visiting a winery, in that you can try many things, before going for the full glass if that’s your preference. Anyway, we’ll be back, and this place will need to be much larger if it’s going to succeed as well as I suspect it might.

10 out of 10!! This is just what Wyandotte needed! For those who haven’t been, you’re missing out! There is more than just wine! (They have beer and mixed drinks) the live music is always great and I never miss a good night of Music Bingo on Thursdays! I recently followed them on social media and I’m blown away with all the events they have! I will be back for sure!

A must visit when downriver. This is the perfect spot for a date night or a girls night out. It has a great atmosphere, it’s decorated beautifully and is super clean. Great selection of wine and snack boards. It’s super fun to try them all out, and the best part is it is self serve so you can enjoy at your own pace. Stop in for a glass!

There are so many excellent wines to choose from! My favorite red was The Crusher a petite sirah! My favorite white was a white sparkling wine called The Libby!
They also have some specialty options…ask for ice from the check-in station and get some sangria!!! It’s the best I’ve had! Or try out the margarita made from wine …it is spectacular!!
Bringing my man, wine wasn’t his thing, so Miller Lite on tap made it blissful for us both!!!
There were a ton of cute picture spots and we mingled a bit too! It will definitely be our new “start the night” spot and it’s very likely we don’t leave! lol We loved it!!
