I’ve been wanting to check this place out. The menu sounds good & they run lots of specials. You’d think the burgers would be fantastic……not so much. It wasn’t too busy but took almost 10 minutes for anyone to come to our table. She took our food order but didn’t ask what we wanted to drink. She did come back & apologized for that. I ordered a Build your own on a preztle bun, Everything plus deluxe. I like just a few onions but it had alot of red onions, tons of mustard & no deluxe. I had to catch the waitress to ask for the tomatoes & lettuce on the side. By the time she finally brought it was was halfway thru my burger, after scraping off so much mustard.

Went there tonight July 23rd 2023 for trivia. Food was great, but service was horrible. In the defense of service I realized they were very busy and very understaffed, but we had to wait 30 to 40 minutes just to get our check to check out, because we used a gift card. Myself and a few others love going to this place for trivia, but it really made the whole group upset about how long it took just to get a check to leave. Love the food but something has to happen for the service.

The food at Jay’s is fantastic! The everyday menu has many excellent choices but the specials aren’t to be missed! Now that the weather is warm the patio is open and it is a great hang especially when there is live music. Very family friendly and support a local business! I plan on visiting again soon.

Our waitress was very fun and relatable. The burger was by far the top 3 I’ve ever had! A lot more young people then I anticipated, but overall a great place for my first time there. I will be back.

We go on a salmon charter out of st joe every year. Usually we stop at wings etc. This year we wanted something different and we nailed it by stopping here. Wings were great. Fried green tomatoes great. Service was fast and friendly. For sure a yearly stop

I’ve yet to have an unpleasant experience at Jay’s. Fast and friendly service. Solid menu. Good cooks, which equals tasty food. My go to place to meet a friend for a bite and beer.

Visited Tuesday. Where is your maintenance person? Bathroom door closer made door SLAM shut at every use. Staff tried to muffle with bar towels. Every table group at the north end of the building were visibly annoyed and were verbally expressing their displeasure. THEN…music bingo started. Cute game concept, but it was so loud no one could even discuss the game amongst themselves. Is there only one speaker? Were parts of the restaurant undeserved by the proper volume? Left at the same time as several other groups. All were complaining of the harsh volume. Our waitress was very good. Attentive, accurate, and professional.
