There is nothing memorable to take away from this establishment, at least not in a positive light. The decor is dark, dreary, and devoid of lighting. The flies have taken up residence in mass quantities. The booths are uncomfortable, untidy, and outdated. The staff are completely disconnected and impersonal to a degree that it is quite unsettling. From the moment that I arrived, there was a sense of apprehension and weariness abound. Though my presence was noticed by the hostess, I was not greeted for a few moments. At this moment, I had the urge to pop on over to either the Gyro Hub or QDoba, as I know that the food and service are both memorable and sensational. The food at Hu-Not, which is what I have come to coin it after this initial and definitely last visit, is not fresh in the least, as the add-ons and accompaniments tend to be on the bland and boring side of the culinary spectrum. The gong being rung after tips and the follow-up annoying boisterous chant is beyond atrocious and uncalled for and should be discarded from the already lackluster performance of the staff. Also, I have kiddos that possess sensory challenges, so to any other parents with children or other loved ones with sensory issues, this unnecessary measure in the routine at Hu-Not may prove to be just as bothersome. This is yet another business that currently enjoys a rating that it will never live up to from the standpoint of any aspect of the restaurant model. This just goes to showcase how out of touch with the premise of reviews that most are these days, as most reviews are devoid of any true depth or reasoning behind rating a business with an elevated mark. There is absolutely no aspect of this business that even comes close to a mark of 3, much less a 4 or a 5. So, to those of you who truly relish in family-friendly dining establishments with attentive staff and adherence to the standards of culinary excellence, avoid this establishment and give your business to literally any other restaurant in the vicinity. And there are several to choose from. The only reason behind the rating of a 2 versus a 1 is that I was served and waited on eventually, but that is right at baseline standard.

Very friendly staff, particularly the grill cook who was extremely nice to everyone! It’s similar to other locations in the chain, service is quick and friendly but ingredients aren’t the greatest and the sauces are really just too salty, can’t really use less because then the flavor suffers as well.

Hostess and waitress did an excellent job!! Kitchen staff and food was absolutely horrible! We went through the line and got up to where they cook the food. There was mostly only one guy working on the food and he was super slow, line backed up, food wasn’t being cooked properly because guy was to slow, so your food just would cook on the bottom and never get turned. There was food and brown water all over the floor in the cooking area, which was disgusting.

Love this place! I try to stop in every time I’m in Rapid. Simple concepts infinite number of combinations. First you get your bowl add noodles,proteins, veggies, and finally sauces/oils. After lining up around the grill enjoy seeing your combinations turned into a fantastic meal by their skilled chefs. Truly excellent ingredients and easy of pay at the completion of your meal, simply scan a QR code with your phone and pay the bill. Without a doubt I will be coming again for many years.

HuHot is an excellent dining establishment. Good prices, good food, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. You can eat until you’re full at the buffet, and there are plenty of options to keep things interesting each time.

Ok,. To start I am not a fan of the whole pick out your own food thing and make your recipes. So while I could eat what I picked out, I would not say it was more than ok. Also, having to stand and wait for the food to be cooked resulted in large disruptions to the meal conversation. The store was under staffed so the food was over cooked. I hate to fault them for that because it might not be their fault. Would not deliberately go back. Nice staff. Clean store. Reasonable cost. Poor concept.

For me: from being greeted, being seated, to our food was a very pleasant experience. Two notes: I thought the egg drop soup was so overly salty- I couldn’t eat it: they did take it off the tab for me. The second: we went a little earlier than the rush. So it was quick; during rush, they had people lined up along the backwards waiting as they can only cook about 12 dishes at a time.

Food was great and the cooks were friendly. Our waiter was useless though. All he did was drop off our drinks and rice and couldn’t be bothered with us otherwise. I asked 1 question about the dinner, and he just said he didn’t know. He could have gone and gotten the answer for his 20% tip!! I asked someone else, and the answer was the only difference between lunch and dinner is a soup or salad is included. It makes lunch is a better price. There were lots of good options for me being gluten free and my husband not, and also if you are vegetarian or not.

This HuHot location had good food and satisfactory service. The chefs and servers were very courteous and friendly during our visit, but our server didn’t refill our beverages during our visit, which was over an hour. Shrimp was not a protein option, it’s usually an option at most HuHot locations.
