The service is always great. The ladies behind the counter genuinely make me feel like I’m getting food from my aunties (maybe because I’ve become a regular ). That kind of warmth and consistency really makes a difference.
The ambiance is chill, with tables available if you want to dine in. There’s an open parking lot, though the plaza can get pretty busy, so parking can sometimes be a little tight. Still totally worth it.
For $8.99, the portions, flavor, and overall experience can’t be beat. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid Caribbean lunch spot you can count on.
The dumpling was so good.
The fridge was stocked with all types of Jamaican drinks from carrot with milk to different kolas. I had the refreshing champagne kolas.
For dessert we took home a small pint of grape nut ice cream. Delish tastes like a cereal ice cream. They had other flavors available such as the classic rum raisin.
What really stood out to me was the customer service. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming. Everyone greeted me with a smile and made sure I felt taken care of. It’s rare to find an establishment where the food is amazing and the service matches that same level of excellence.
This will definitely be my monthly drive for breakfast and dinner. If I could give 20 stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommend!
I had the Ackee and saltfish dish and a 2 meat dinner (oxtail and cow foot).
