I ordered the rose dukboki and a deep-fried set for takeout. The dukboki was on the spicy side, which I personally liked, but the portion was pretty small for the price. The deep-fried set had a nice variety of items, so it was fun to try a little bit of everything. Overall, the food was decent, but the takeout portions felt a bit skimpy. Maybe dining in gives you better portions.

I was so excited to stop by this spot in Palisades Park and it did NOT disappoint. It definitely lived up to my expectations. We ordered the Jawesome Set which was perfect for 3-4 people. It came with the Ramen Topokki Soup, Jaws Korean Sausage, Large Deep Fried Set, and an Assorted Fish Cake Soup. We also had to try their Beef Rib Gimbap and their slushies. My favorite was the Sikhye Slushie which is a slushie version of the Korea rice drink I grew up drinking. Definitely recommend stopping by! So many other items I want to try next time!

As good as advertised. Yes, it was slightly overpriced for Topokki, but Jaws arguably makes the best Topokki in the tristate area.
Be careful when choosing the spiciness. The spiciest Topokki is not American spicy, but it is authentically is Seoul spicy. Exactly what I wanted and so glad to enjoy Topokki of this caliber in the United States.
Yes, this place is very crowded (and your order can be processed somewhat slowly) with tons of takeout orders. But the operation is surprisingly smooth for a new place. Great job.

We were craving topokki so decided to check out Jaws which I think is a chain from Korea. We ordered takeout and got the Friend Set (jaws toppoki soup, soondae, and deep fried set) and Tuna Gimbap. We ordered regular spice and it was very spicy so suggest getting mild if you can’t handle it. Enjoyed both the tuna gimbap and the deep fried set (favorite was the gimmari and squid). We didn’t really enjoy the soondae here but did pair well with the topokki. Recommend checking it out!

One of best additions to the neighborhood. It’s on the second floor but they have very bright yellow sign so it’s fairly easy to find. Street metered parking can be hard to come by, especially on the weekend. Service is fast and friendly and the spicy rice cakes are the best in the area. The rose topokki is my favorite! Rich and creamy and simply delicious. The assorted fried items go well with the topokki and is a recommended pairing.

Its not usual that I get to enjoy Korean food. I love it dearly, but I live in a very rural part of the country with not even access to the ingredients. The meal I had here was just superb, a real treat. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy, the topokki is so flavorful, and every detail is exactly what I wanted. 10/10, would return and recommend

Braved the deep freeze for a quick bite with my wife who loves tteukbokki. The atmosphere is cozy, with self service areas for utensils, water, and to place the trays after the meal.
The food was both a hit and miss for me. The tteukbokki is great reminiscent of old school tteukbokki made of flour and not rice for that chewy texture. The regular spice level was perfect for us and the fried fish cake sprinkles added a crunchy texture. The soondae was always great and didnt leave me wanting for more as the set menu was more than enough. Also had a roll of gimbap which I thought was very good. Believe it or not, though very simple to make it is very easy to screw up, case in point any of those gimbaps at supermarkets like hmart.
The mixed tempura was a miss for me though while the taste was clean and not oily it was just bland and one note.
In regards to the price of $30~ $40 doesnt seem much in relation to the amount of food, it also didnt leave me with a sense of wanting to drop in all the time either.

I ordered the Keto kimbap via Uber Eats and was genuinely impressed—not only was the delivery prompt, but the dish exceeded my expectations. The outer layer featured a vibrant yellow element that resembled scrambled eggs at first glance, yet offered a delightfully crisp texture that elevated the overall experience. It added both structural contrast and flavor complexity to the kimbap. I’m definitely looking forward to dining in soon to explore more of the menu.

This place is a must-visit! The tteokbokki is perfectly spicy, chewy, and packed with flavor, and the crispy toppings take it to another level. The fried chicken is golden, crispy, and juicy—absolute perfection. The dumplings and seaweed rolls are the perfect sidekick, and the soup is warm and comforting. Everything here is top-notch, and the attention to detail in every dish is amazing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable meal

Every food we tasted was good. Except Soon-Dae was over cooked and not my taste. The price was expensive for the portion they served. Especially the assorted fries of the combo meal were not enough to share with when it was meant to serve for 2-3 people. Well, it was the opening day and was not organized. I hope they improve by the time when I visit next.. BTW employees were super nice & kind.
