What a great place to eat! Our waitress was very nice. The food was very good. The decor and atmosphere was like walking into a pueblita. The masa in the corn tortillas was so great. Nothing like what you get in the store! My husband and I went on a date there and we recommend it!

The food is okay, it’s not my favorite restaurant. I think their normal salsa tastes like marinara sauce for a pizza. They do have a different salsa called happy salsa and it good but hot. I wish there normal salsa was not so marinara sauce.

Food was very bland, I don’t understand how some restaurants are so afraid to use spices! My Tia and Abuelita made AUTHENTIC Mexican food and it definitely did not taste like this food. So disappointed. Service wasn’t so great either, our waitress never checked on us and when we were done eating and our plates pushed to the side, she did not pick up our plates nor even bring us our ticket, too busy decorating a Christmas tree. Definitely won’t be back but will recommend to any family or friends.

Had Onion Pepper Beef. It was good and I recommend it. Serving of refritos and rice was beyond skimpy and rice was not Mexican Rice but plain old white rice.
La Crema was fine but guacamole and pico de gallio were both dry on top indicating they had set out a long time.
I also had a lime Margarita. Size was about 12 oz per photo. When I tasted it I could find no tequila. When I finally got the waitress back she informed me my drink had no alcohol ( they serve both with and without) and said she would remake it. When I got the drink back made “with” I still could not taste any tequila, so I asked for a shot to bring it up. Waitress just disappeared and didn’t come back. When after about 15 minutes I hailed her she said she could not serve e a shot until I finished the Margarita. In then asked if she could take the drink back and add a shot to it at my expense. She said ‘no’. as the drink was made with one of these Kool Aid like mixes that come in a gallon bottle. (When I got home I made me a good Margarita)
My experience was an ordeal. seats are too low and table in booth came to my chest. (I am 5′ 8″) and distance between seat back and table top is too narrow. I asked for a manager but she couldn’t understand.
To top it all off the waitress could not understand English and could rarely be found . The whole experience was an Ordeal and I won’t be going back. Take your business where it is appreciated.
If I could give NO stars, I would.

Seriously disappointed with our food, my wife took one bite and said nope! Immediately asked to return the food and was told we had to pay for it because we both ordered a beer, and a shot.. it wasn’t our servers fault! But was able to finally resolve getting the plate removed from our bill after the server spoke to the manager, We was given the option to Get a new plate but scared to return food and get a new plate with the fear of new food tastings the same, or with a extra addition that we didn’t ask for “if you know what we mean” We will not be coming back to this location or any other Javiers

Food was fresh, served hot and fast.
Started with their chips and salsa. Love the Little kick off heat in the salsa.
We had the pepe chicken and the Sr Ron chimichanga.

Awesome! I love how festive the place was. Decor and service was some of the I’ve seen in a very long time. I was even able to meet the owner Javier. I’m so glad I ate thier tonight. They put a big smile on my face.

We went to Javier’s for my son’s birthday and unfortunately the experience was disappointing.
I asked for an alcohol menu, and the first lady just walked away. Five minutes later, another server came by and asked what we wanted to drink. I asked again for a menu, and she said they don’t have one. Before that, when the chips were brought out, I had also asked the server if there was an alcohol menu—his response was, “I don’t even know,” and he walked away.
I also asked if they sing happy birthday for celebrations, and was told yes. We waited 20 minutes, but they didn’t come out until half of our party had step away to the bathroom. When they did sing, it was completely out of sync. They brought fried ice cream for my son, which was nice, but then we noticed we were charged for it on the bill even though we never asked for it. We wouldn’t have minded paying, but it felt odd to be charged for something that wasn’t requested.
Overall, the service felt unorganized and inattentive, especially for a special occasion.

First time review… I was impressed with this Mexican restaurant. From the outside, one cannot judge the interior decore. It has a very quaint interior… will decorated. The FOOD is tasty and the plenty. There’s an endless menu from which to choose. For those salsa snobs, you will find the salsa sabrosa y picosa. Enjoy!!

I came here for the first time with a large crowd of about 20 people. The staff were professional and very on top of things. They did such a great job serving us and were very friendly!!! 5 stars to the ladies who took care of such a large group! We were seated on time, well attended to, and food came out quickly and was served hot. The atmosphere was fun and I loved the decor. Unfortunately the food was lack-luster. I got two enchiladas, one cheese and one with chicken, and it wasn’t very impressive. It didn’t really do it for me but I’ve heard other people say they really liked it so I guess it’s up to what tastes you’re looking for? I just didn’t care for anything on my plate— rice, beans, enchiladas, sauce, cheese,— none of it hit right. Thought it was a bit over priced as well. It just didn’t stack up to El Matador in Bountiful or Bella’s in Pleasant View as far as the menu goes. Overall not a bad experience though and our group had a great time. 🙂
